I'm happy to see that Hazard Emitters and Polarize Hull will no longer be sharing a cool down and that Energy Syphon and Tachyon Beam arent going to share a cool down with Tyken's Rift or Gravity Well.

However I am disappointed that nothing is being done to fix the horribleness of the Federation Starbase conference room project.

    Awww come on. It is never perfect isn't it? :)

    I will not looked at a gifted horse in the mouth. We get some nice improvments tomorrow and i will gladly enjoy them for what they are.

    Well, viewed that way, since when MMOs or videogames in general matter at all?

    And yet, i will still be happy to be able to use Polarize Hull and Hazard Emitter together :)

    You COULD try playing with a single Mark 1 weapon in the fore and aft of the ship. With a like-level shield, it could make the PvE uneasypeasy.

    I think that's what players in another space MMO say about PvP in this game if I'm not mistaken.

    I think while they're at it they should remove the shared cool down between Engineering team and Tac team. I want to be able to heal my hull and balance my shields at the same time.

    Try some "Auxilery Power to Structural Integrity field" to go with that Tac Team.

    It is not really important, but it really is.

    That's fine.

    It's just that the mechanic has more importance in PvP, not PvE.

    Yeah, but this 1 is going to hurt.

    Emergency Power to Shields has been added to the cooldown category shared by Extend Shields and Reverse Shield Polarity.

    From what I gather out of it, no more chaining EPtS and then using RSP for the add. This will hurt crusier tanking even further and make them even more easy to kill in PVP. It appears Cryptic doesn't want crusiers in PVP at all.

    Sometimes it amazes me where these guys come up with their ideas.

    That's nice, but space PvP in this game is the one thing that this game has going for it.

    It's funny because they put them on a joint cooldown 2 years ago, because stacking the two resulted in a ridiculously high hull resistance. :rolleyes:

    But them putting Emergency Shields, Extend Shields, and Reverse Shield Polarity on the same cooldown.........wasn't the brightest thing to do. It's going to cause some serious problems.

    Yep, it's a severe change.

    A bunch of builds just got thrown out. Pugging is going to hurt quite a bit.

    I can still get extend out, but now I have to slot 2 and must keep it between each EPTS execution or I ruin my self-protect healing cycle.

    This is indeed a nasty blow to cruiser tanking, but lets look at this as an opportunity to switch our EP2Shields to an EP2Weapons, and run our shields high as standard.

    Or to exchange EP2Shields for EP2Auxilery and start getting more use out of the “Auxiliary to Battery/Structural/Inertial” Skills which have revived some nice cool down tweaking.

    Its tanking Jim, but not as we know it.

    The only problem with your plan pwstolemyname is that you lose the damage resistance and the shield heal with that plan and you lose the ability to repair shut-down shields. This is a blow by far for cruiser tanking.

    Moreover, the pvp game is being taken over by sci spam and now you have given the sci boff ability way too much yet again..

    Why are you guys intentionally leading people into buying sci ships and creating new characters? I am a CEO of a big corp (No names needed) and I have seen how you lore in the bait. Well thanks for an obvious business motive. This is clearly not the call on behalf of Cryptic, this is PWE; many chiness businesses use this sort of ackward tactic because of the social differences between the US and China.

    I feel for the Devs at Cryptic. I believe many of them joined into this game because of a love for it. I am sure they all play it too and want all the things we want. But, they have mouths to feed and bosses to answer to.

    Please, rebalance this soon..

    I'm guessing Rotate Shield Frequency is exempt from the shared cool down with other shield abilities?
