I have a tactical character with a heavy escort and a science character with a Atrox carrier, both level 50. i just got a Galor and was wondering which ships deserves the spiral wave console from the Galor? Because of the slow turn rate of the Atrox, its fitted with beam arrays and turrets.Would i need the spiral wave to help it fight better? would it even work with that ship? i dont want to unpack it till i know which captain to give it to.thanks.

As far as I know, Spiral Waves can only be put on Galors.

gotcha. i guess i thought it was a universal console like the ones on ships i bought from the zen store and placed on my Atrox and Heavey escort Armitage.Since it leans to be a engineer ship, i guess it doesnt matter which captain i give it to.thanks for that info.

The beams have no reference to only working on galors you can even by them without a galor from the dstore.

This is incorrect. You can only purchase the Spiral Wave Disruptor from the Dilithium Store when you already have a unpacked 'Galor' in your inventory..

However, the Spiral Wave Disruptor is not limited to the Galor and can be transferred to any ship that support Beam Arrays. (I have 6 of these on my Ferengi D'Kora currently..)

Thats great news! Now i can unpack it.I did try to buy the spiral wave disruptor off the exchange and it wouldn't let me a few weeks ago. i figured that was why. I think i might put it on the Atrox. It seems to need more help of the two ships.thanks for that info!

I do not have a galor and never unlocked one yet I can buy Spiral Wave from the dstore.

Thats soo weird! I wonder if its a bug or glitch? I tryed and couldn't. It wasn't blacked out if i remember, just wouldn't take my dilithium.I figure it's bound as i've never seen one on the exchange for sale.Anybody know if the D'Kora weapons and 62 console forsale at Lobi crystal store for 200 lobi's will work on other ships as a universal console?
I got a good glitch on my account i can't explain, but when i was a free to play member,i made 2 fed captains and still could make a KDF one. Everyone said i was only supose to have one. Hence the one fed tatical and one fed science captains i mention in my 1st post.My brother joined about a month later and he only could make one federation character. Don't know why i could but i like it.

If you're talking about the 'unique' weapons that come with a D'Kora (the missile swarm launcher, and that field jamming thing) they are 'built into the ship' (e.g. no console or weapon device) and cannot be transferred.

Now the Ferengi Set from the Lobi Store can be used on any ship. Using a Armitrage with the Ferengi Concentrated Tachyon Mine in the back, plus the Quantum Turret (from the Regent class Sov Refit) in the front, with 2 Dispersal Pattern Beta's and 2 Torpedo Spread to back them up, is truly a sight to behold in a Starbase Fleet Alert...

I unpacked the Galor for my science captain and yes the spiral wave disruptor works on my other ships. They give you 4 with the ship! Also since i have most of the ships from the zen store for their consoles i will try that setup for my Armitrage escort.I just need a few more lobi's for the ferengi mines.I also want the missles they sell for 200 lobi's but that will take awhile to buildup. I was wondering what you meant by TWO pattern betas and TWO torpedo spreads? Can't you use just one and have to wait for a cool down? I do have the transwarp computer but it doesn't seem to work like it says on reducing cool down on either weapons or transwarp cool down by 50%. or at least it didnt on the tuffli freighter i have. Still had to wait 10 minutes to use transwarp again on it.Musta misread something.I also have the red matter capasitor thingy so i didnt get that one ship with the manifold thing as i think i read its about the same thing.thanks.

i just realized my science captain with the Atrox is the one with all the lobi crystals. My tac captain with the Armitrage has none. And since the mines, missles and 62 console are character bound on pickup, i cant send them if purchased to the other character. I guess i'll have to claim another Armitrage escort from c- store for my science captain to use that setup mentioned with the ferengi tachyon mines from lobi store.

Having duplicate BO skills at different levels (e.g. Dispersal Pattern Beta 2 & 3, Torpedo Spread 1 & 2) only share a partial cool-down. So by having two, you have a significantly higher rate of use of the BO skills then by having one and waiting for the full cool-down.

(However, there is no additional advantage in having 3 copies of a BO Skill, as the rate of use remains the same as having just 2 copies...)

at all Wave disrupters "Count" as Disrupters with [acc]x2 and [dmg]x2 as well as both (disrupter debuff + Phaser disable subsystem) procs.

So yes, generally speaking they are better than Borg weapons, which only have 3 modifiers, one of them [Borg], and only one proc.

But against Borg, the borg weapons should still be better, in all other cases, especially PvP, the wave disrupter is the weapon of choice.
