I am probably not alone in the irritation of having the Vault as the only way of gaining the material for obtaining the Reman Prototype Space Set.
A better way is to have the base set as a reward for a mini Romulan-Reman mission (oh yea, there is a whole five mission story already in game).
After obtaining the base set, then the player either does the Vault (in shuttle) or a large Ship Fleet Action mission dealing with taking out a Fanatical Reman starbase building Thalaron weapons. The reward is the current item(s) needed for upgrading to XI and XII.
Just like the Jem'hadar and Breen set, the base version should be a straight forward process for obtaining. The work would be in upgrading it
p.s. it would also be nice to have a similar mission to reward one set of STF tier X gear for ship and ground.
I agree, I hate how many different ways you have to go about things to get set's. They should unify them all and create one way to get the sets, either STFs or other means, but the "currency" should be the same as it were.

Are you serious? You *WANT* homogenized, bland gameplay? I, for one, think it's a good thing that there's so many different things to be doing, rather than everything being a reskinned version of the same thing.

Now it is fixed, and no one saw those "concerned" players playing vault anymore.
However, I am not sure if remen set is that effective compare to borg for example. The shield looks cool which you can obtain from a mission.

If anything, the Reman set should be involved with the supposed revamped crafting that is coming up and actually get people to do crafting research.
