Congratulations Kirkfat! Well deserved, although many of the entrants could have won as well

This was a fantastic challenge. I was really impressed with all the entries.

That said, I think Relics was the right choice to win. Congratulations, KF!

I'm guessing I missed something that happened with this Andorian counselor? One of Kirkfat's other missions?

Outstanding work, though. Especially liked the transporter transition. Always impresses me how foundry authors cram extra maps into their missions or skip loading screens.

No, but some folks are requesting a prequel with Shree.

I was just kind of experimenting there. How many times was Picard taken over by an alien entity? I figured every captain must have those awkward moments when they are confronted with the consequences of their actions, but they don't remember doing any of it.

Some folks liked it, but it may have just confused most players.

btw, thanks again to all the other contestants for making me sweat.

It wasn't that difficult to understand, but some people don't get it if you don't explain everything in details. Maybe you should make a disclaimer "TRIBBLE/erotic roleplay opportunity" if you make the prequel? :D

I played the mission in a D'Kyr. So I loved the line about having a Vulcan science vessel.

I also played as Drexela. See: http://marhawkman.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/d4qhxrs

Drexela is a female former Borg Joined Trill who is about as cranky and grumpy as Trills get...

that scene was a giant "lol wut"?

I have to say I did like the rest of the mission a lot. :D

Makes sense. The last mission I remember playing by you did involve my character being stoned out of his mind on weaponized Orion pheromones long enough for the ship to get stolen out from under him. Could have had all kinds of (mis)adventures.

You may also enjoy "Vulcan Love Slave #9." Thanks for playing.

Thank you. I'm also a fan of the runners up in 2nd and 3rd. Diogene's mission was my vote. Please make sure to play them also.

Congrats, kirkfat. Great mission, excellent effects (especially some of the transitions - wow!), engaging and immersive story, and, as I said in the news post, I liked how you figured out how to keep the excess BOFFs contained. I am hopeful that Cryptic will implement something that lets us determine the size of our away team, but in the meantime, I enjoyed how you figured out a way to circumvent that. In the future I hope to see Cryptic add a Foundry feature that lets authors regulate that without having to figure out a work-around. Again, nice work.

Congrats, kirkfat, as I said in the news post, I really enjoyed the mission, particularly the transition effects, and the way you kept the excess BOFFs contained. I hate always having to go down as a 5-man party, and I liked that you figured out a way to circumvent that. In the future I hope to see Cryptic implement a fix that allows us to choose how many BOFFs we take down, both in the Foundry and elsewhere. Once again, nice work.

Thank you. But, as I said on the blog, this was a weird bug with pathing. I had to rewrite the mission at the last moment because the boffs were not spawning, lol. It's definitely not some kind of reliable trick that I figured out. It's just something that happened to my mission post-publish.

Well, make a note for yourself to remember whatever you did. I like the depth it added. :D

We've been trying to replicate it, to no success, lol. I suspect that at any moment some change to pathing will completely mess up the mission, and the boffs will beam down after it says they won't. Such is the life of a foundry mission.

Such a great mission. A well deserved win.
Many of the entries were excellent, but this one stood hands above it's competition.
The addition of "accolades" during the mission was wonderful.
    Bravo ! once again.
