I'm quite pleased with this quick video as it didn't take long to make. It would be nice if the windows on the Galaxy/Venture neck were fixed though. :)

I'm surprised you didn't get any replies. I think the films are very good!
I am going to check out that demo film feature, I didn't even know something like that was built in!

I agree. Can you tell a bit more about how you make them? I want to try it myself, a few tips would be welcome!

They're good indeed. That 2800 makes me want to rerun the series. And unlike Cryptic's trailers, everything you show in the videos is actually there.

Well, except for the score, of course.

    Brilliant stuff, well done.

I'm going to bump this thread up so some more people can see it.

Thank you, you're all very kind :)

I added a list of acknowledgements at the end so people could see what tutorials and software I used to create them, but very basically the steps I take are:

    1. Use the inbuilt STO demorecord feature to record segments of gameplay.
    2. Use demorecord to playback the gameplay, and use its camera sweeps.
    3. Use fraps to record the playback to video files.
    4. Import the video files into Windows Live Movie Maker to organise and trim them (and add soundtrack).
    5. Upload to YouTube.
