Help getting reman protoype engine and deflector

I got 7 Reman prototype data files, and I'm in my ship's interior, but there's no tactical duty officer for me to talk to about making the engine and deflector parts.

WHAT DO I DO?

Please help!:confused:

    you need ALOT more than just 7 prototype reman datalogs for the prototype upgrade....also the tactical officer contact is in the ready room on the bridge...its the console/computer.

    I find this line of replies sadly hilarious. We put a lot of work into the massive list of fixes/changes above, and ya'll are hung up on the ability to skip our content. =p

    Some bridges have an actual tactical officer, but most use a console to contact them. Check ready room off your bridge and you should see the special projects listed there under tactical.

    7 data files is more than enough to make a Reman part. (Maybe 2 if the Wiki is correct about it being only 3 data files per Mark XI part, though I thought it was 5.)

    is the vault shuttle event the only way to get the datalogs, or can you get them from other missions?

    is the vault shuttle event the only way to get the datalogs, or can you get them from other missions?


    The event is the only time you can get them. you need 6 datalogs to get the Rare mk 11 remans defelctor and engine and then run Colesium for the mk 11 rare shield.

    Actually, you only need 3 to produce the engine or deflector. You need 10 for each of the first upgades, and 20 for each of the 2nd upgrades.

    I just wanted to know where my Tactical duty officer was.

    Worth running the vault 30 times for ?

    if you like running Heavy plasma torpedoes or are making a Reman build (like i did with my Atrox carrier, with a couple skills missing due it only having a lt. tac station and not a commander tac -.-) then its ok. but STF gear is still far better. as it is the reman shield does really do much except have a high shield cap and make the ship look good lol.

    IMO ist not really worth running the vault 30+ times, i only ran it 6 times to get the mk 11 set for my atrox (which i mostly use for loot runs)

    what do the upgrades do? the wiki doesn't say.
    The upgrades turn it from Mk X to Mk XI, then from Mk XI to Mk XII.
    Was named Trek17.

    Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

    actually the engine and deflector start at rare mk 11 and upgrade to very rare mk 11 and then very rare mk 12 (i think that is the order) and then you have the reman shield at mk X at the lowest...not really useful lol, so you have to run coliseum again for the mk 11 shield, at i think RAUH (45) and then you have to upgrade that...ug so many datalogs.
