This bugs old news and bug reports have been submitted about it. Can you please fix this bug that stops the second part of the assignment chain appearing as described in

I recognise this is a Klingon only bug so prioritatsiation will not be high, but its been broke since April, so please 5 months later can you now fix it.

I agree, I have been looking for the same for Months and have not found it, could you please fix it.
I too understand the workload you guys must have, but I don't think fixing this would be a big problem, we just want to be able to finish chains that are available for us so we can move on.

They aren't disabled, I can tell you that much. But it will take more investigation to see if there may something wrong with their availability.

It doesn't matter if you're lvl 22 (when you first get Duty Officers on the KDF side), or lvl 50; it never shows up regardless.
Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

Not to mention I haven't seen the 'crit grants buff to ground skill' assignments for ages, space buffs all over but not a single ground buff.
I was surprised to pick up one last night. I haven't seen one for a long time. Doesn't help to find it though, if I never find the second half.
It is clear that the second part of all these Biogenic Chains are broken, not just hard to find.
What are the rewards anyways?

Somewhat related: This may be related to the issue where players claim a few other chain pieces are missing, like the Ghosts of the Jem'Hadar step that keeps getting mentioned.

Anaprolean Fever, Correllium Fever, Omega IV Virus, Synthococcus Novae, Telurian Plague
All of these I have completed the first part on all 5 of my KDF guys and have never seen the second part anywhere, despite much flying to all points of the Galaxy.
Where are the second parts supposed to appear?
Perhaps a redoubled effort in searching if I was sure exactly where is was designed to appear.

They are Rare, but not location-restricted. They should appear almost anywhere.

Actually, looks like it's the same reward tables used for the "Contain Outbreak" series.

Maybe there's an error in the code. The future ones in the other chains don't show up unless you've completed the previous one... maybe for the Field Test ones, it's somehow unable to recognize or realize we've completed the 1st one?

Thanks for your attention to this issue Borticus, I hope it will be fixed so we can all finish this chain.
I don't know about the Jem'Hadar quest, I finished it and although some of the steps were
difficult to find, I did find them. These Biogenic Quests are the only ones that I've not finished.

Since the chain seems to work on Fed side, could you please check for pieces of code in the algorithm similar to this:
if (Player.GetFactionName () == "KDF")
{
Player.SetScrewedState (true);
}
OR
if (Player.GetFactionName () == "KDF")
{
Assignment.SetAppearingChances (0);
}
and either comment out the SetScrewedState call or use the same value you use for the Fed faction in the SetAppearinChances call?
I AM PISSED OFF AFTER 3 YRS. I STILL CAN'T USE OR CHANGE OR DELETE OUTFIT IN 3 OF 5 OUTFIT SLOTS ON MY KLINGON TOON !
