Assigning bridge officers

Hi,

So I just became Commander and chose a nebula ship, which has 5 bridge officer stations... An extra Ensign Science station. I'm trying to assign one of my science bridge officer candidates to it, but it won't give me the option. So I have an empty station.

Anyone know how I can assign it?

    Candidates are not formal members of your crew.

    R-click the candidate and select "Join" to move to your BOff roster.

    Unless Ilorcan is a silver member. Silvers don't get another BOFF slot until Captain according to the matrix.

    I'm having the same issue. I just picked up commander, bought a new escort w/ an extra tact station, and STILL cannon put another tact officer in that vacant slot. Every time I R click on a candidate, I get a response similar to "Sorry, there isn't enough room on the bridge for me". WTF? Can someone help me?

    This thread is an ancient artifact (after no posts for 30 days or more) and it must now be put in the thread museum where it can be forgotten by everyone except thread archaeologists.

    Note that you're more than welcome to start a new thread on the topic (unless there is an existing thread on the topic that has received a post within the last 30 days, in which case you can just continue to post in that thread)! :)

    P.S. Not sure what your issue is, brezenski, but I do know that you have to have available BOff slots on your roster and you have to commission BOffs before you can use them. If those aren't your issue, please open a new thread.
