Which Consoles should be Unique?

There have been discussions, arguments, near war over the console swaps.
I've not commented till recently on this.
I made the mistake of doing so in a Faction specific forum and was shall we say sarcastic.
I was tired of reading from some players how their favorite console was somehow unique. That it could never be traded. Tired or reasons that basically came down to it's my ball.
Sadly that came out to some at first as a targeted attack. It did however get a couple of people to post some better reasons. Though it seemed less on uniqueness then balance.
So.
I would like to try to start a friendly and neutral thread where players go over some or all the special consoles, and state which ones should be unique to a faction or cross faction.
I would like people to state reasons, I do not care if they use cannon ones or not.
Uniqueness and balance are two different things. If you want to argue balance please make sure you state that.

If you can talk PWE or Cryptic into that then more power to you. While at it perhaps you can get them to balance everything else to PvP and get it to work right.
I am only suggesting this because then perhaps there will be less arguing over it by players. They can get their points across on balance or Uniqueness in a manner that I would hope does not desolve into a war. It might even get someone who does have the pull to reconsider some of these trades.
And for the record I only have 2 consoles like these and rarely use them. I also mainly do PvE because PvP has been too much of a hassle. (Point Defense and Point Defense)
Mostly cause the forums would be unbelievably entertaining for the next month after that.
If the Fed's get the Leech it would be bad for the game, it would TRIBBLE off KDF players and the Feds with the MACO shields would be OP with their power levels. It would unbalance the game.
I agree, get rid of the cross faction consoles, missions and all other stuff. Bring back some uniqueness between the factions. Currently there isn't much for a person to play both factions.
