Question on in game chat for F2P accounts.

I have read a few posts that said Free to Play accounts are limited in chat until/unless they have any of the following:

Existing Account/Characters
Purchased something from the store
Have a Zen balance
20+ hours gameplay on any/all characters

I have had the account subscribed enough previously to aquire the "Dauntless, Magnificent, Redoubtable, Relentless, Stalwart, and Valiant titles". I have a Vice Admiral ranked character, and I recently purchased Zen to buy lockbox keys, yet I am still unable to use any chat other then Team chat / tells from friends.

Is this the way F2P remains chatwise or am I bugged somehow?

    Unless you super power leveled to Vice Admiral in under 20 hours, i would say that you are bugged.

    I am F2P and chat works just fine for me. However, I have been here a while.

    Send in a bug report and talk to a GM about it.

    Type /played, see how many hours your character has accrued. If it's over 20 hours, send in a ticket.

    Type /played, see how many hours your character has accrued. If it's over 20 hours, send in a ticket.

    Note though that "/played" gives you character-specific time, not the total time for all the alts.

    If you play trough steam you can see your total playing hours.

    Also, I believe it has to be in-game playing time, title screen + Creator doesn't count.

    If you are a returning customer (after a longer break) you may have to play a character for 20+ hours.
    In my personal experience PWE sometimes "forget" to give you credit for the things you did before the game went F2P.

    I would suggest opening a ticket (link in my sig). But make sure your email address for your account is correct first, so they can contact you for resolution.

    I know this may sound stupid, but also make sure all the necessary chat boxes are marked. (I made that mistake a few times on new toons)
    If they are checked, then yea, I'd send in a Bug Report.

    Thank you for the replies!

    I did send in a ticket (In game and through the forum link) and am waiting for a response, since it says my character has 71 days played time when i used the /played command I would hope they would see that as more then 20 hours :D I have also been leaving my character sit idle when im busy so it should be at 20 hours at least since I "Came back"

    Any estimates on how long it takes to get a response on tickets? When I go to to the in game one I sent in in the "View My tickets" it says "Created 3 days ago" and status still says "New" and the one I made via the forums was posted 9/1 and still says "Unresolved" so I will guess they havent even read either yet?
