So, what are some good simple ways to make EC?

Im being dead serious. I'd like to raise anywhere from 50-70 mill over the next week, and preferably not melt my brain in boredom.

Hint: Many people search by price, instead of price per unit. Buy something cheap in bulk, then sell it back at a higher price per unit individually.
Also, it's good to do all the colonial chains and then keep doing the repeatables that give you a refugee and a purple doff on a critical. Use the refugees in different asylum missions and sell the doff you get if it's purple or downgrade it to white doffs and sell those. If you get a green doff with certain traits it's a good idea to do the Officer Exchanges in Cardasian sectors. For instance, if you do the Rigel V asylum many times you will get a green doff that is good for the Bajoran Officer exchange since it will have the spiritual trait. It's also a good idea to downgrade the bound purple doff you get off of a critical mission to whites since they're in high demand for starbases and sell them on the exchange.

Right now, the best ways to earn EC is by selling Lockbox Keys, Items from Lockboxes, Rare DOFFs like the Tholian Special Warfare DOFFs, the Phased Tetryon weapons. Also highly sought after DOFFs for Starbases like the Purples, Astrometic DOFFs, and more.
Second best is the Tour the Galaxy Race, providing you are skilled enough to do more than 4 laps.
You can get FAR more than 700k EC in the Tour the Galaxy.
Top Tour the Galaxy racers do 6 laps, which earn well over 2 million per event.
6 laps......How??? :eek: I can just about fit in 4 full laps in the hour event.
That is using the borg engine, 6 pts in drive coil, Diplo Imunity and that gets me warp 34 during slipstream and 24 without.
Id love to know hop they fit in 6 laps? :cool:
Fly to kdf space before the event and ask for raiding party, it's the kdf diplo immunity, and those racers may also have full 9 in driver coil. They may also be in an oddy which if I remember right, has double duration slipstream. There is also a duty officer mission, shipboard, that on crit boosts driver coil, if you crit it save it to turn in before your next race for moar speed.
