Got to say, she looks pretty fine in that spot. Thank you, Geko.
Now, for those of us whose DTNE entries you guys used, how about a snazzy new title?
Oh my, she is indeed a lovely ship
Oh and as Azurian said, would be nice if you told us who designed this ship in the DTNE competition and gave them credit for it.
I would like to thank the actual designer rather than Gecko who is trying to take the credit for it
I will of course be buying this ship, an account unlock makes it a given.
See devs, account unlock = buying, per character = wont touch with a 10ft barge pole!
Before this it was the Armitage, and before that the Oddy. I kinda wish they would show your current ship in that window, not the C-store flavor of the month. It would be funny to see a Runabout or Tuffli sitting there.
That said, why no big-window love for the Gladius, Bellerophon, Sao Paolo, Exeter and Venture? Are these C-store flavors not good enough to be seen by the ESD crowd?
Nice picture , It is a nice ship but also I wish it came with the Nemesis Sovy design and bridge as well.
If you want the Nemesis "skin", what you should be asking for isn't a new ship costume (especially not since they don't sell costumes separately anymore), but a new ship material, like the type 6 or whatever. It's the material that determines the lines shown on the hull, and to a lesser extent is influenced by the paint scheme.
Material determines the texture of the hull. That's why the look changes slightly when you equip the Maco or whatever shields and parts.
Wasn't aware that there was a significant difference between the Bridges seen in FC and Ins to that seen in Nem?
The most signifficant difference is that they put the bridge set on some kind of gyro system. This was done it actually shake the set so the actors reaction to the ship being hit were more realistic.:)
(yes I know you meant cosmetically ;-) )
I'm sorry but I just don't like it. I didn't like it when I first saw it and now I like it even less. It's just.... ugly. The saucer looks like a pizza and the nacelles like toothpicks. Not even talking about this ugly out of scale deflector. IF I'm going to buy it I will surely not use a single part of the regent design.
Looks crudely carved out of Styrofoam. Not impressed.
it's a low resolution shot compared to what cryptic's screenshots look like... look at the console infront of the character taking the picture. you can see it's a low-res pic by how the console looks.

Well, it's kind of a newer thing actually. For a pretty long time if memory serves, it was just a Galaxy class sitting there in the window. When the Odyssey came out, the Galaxy was moved back, and that giant ship sat there instead, and it's continued since.
On the other side, the Bortas, when it was added as well, could, and still is seen at the Klingon shipyards.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
