[KlingPvP] Okay Im 50, what now??

hey all,

i wasnt playing for quite a while now and always on FED side with my defiant and that other class which was able to spilt into 3 parts if i remember correctly but since the word on the street is that klings would need more pvpers at the moment I've just finished lvling my new tac officer to 50...

Now i wonder what items I need from a pvp point of view! Im planning to command a BoP with the typical cannons/turrets only build and a hit and run/max dmg output tactic! Back in the days I was playing around with the borg and that other set which you could obtain from crafting!

What would you suggest nowadays?

Ive seen that there are some threads to help with pvp but those seem to be only about which skills etc to use but rather less about ship parts!

    get yourself klingon honor guard shields, w/ omega engines and deflector, the two set omega makes it so that all your weapons have a drain shield effect, and also spec into flow capicators in the lt. skill tree, bottem leftish. the honor guard shields lower peoples acc when there shooting at you randomly which is nice, my bop has 12k shields. check out my youtube post called vortax pvp and you can watch some of my pvp videos of me in my bop or garumba, i use this setup and i love it. theres a bit more involved than just this in my set up, but im working on a video that goes over everything i do to pew pew. expect more bop videos from me soon too.

    there isnt too much of a difference, you will end up missing the maco shield. the bop has a lot riding against it, and the raptor is the worst escort if it has to face any other escort. the cruisers are fun, the vorcha is extreamly maneuverable and has so many options over fed cruisers. though feds have all the interesting station setups and klinks have mostly just the basics. the best tac ship on the kdf side seems to be the fleet tier 4 nasican ship turned fleet ship, its similar in stats to your defiant.

    Still flying a BoP might not be the most effective thing to do in PvP, but it is by far the most fun.
    We also have orion chicks, and can QQ twice as hard on the forums since both PvP and the KDF are in a permanent state of neglect.
    Your pugs will be better for some strange reason.
