Borg Set and Tholian Recluse Carrier

The Shield is the only part where there is nothing wrong. The consoles could be shifted so that they are completely on the hull. There is a gap between the hull and the large engine piece. The smaller engine piece has some problems with it showing pieces that should be hidden. Finally, the deflector is an absolute monstrosity. Reducing the size could make it tolerable.

Meh, wouldn't be the first ship where the engine floats off of the hull. It happens on a few Federation ships themselves.

I have to agree with the size of the deflector; I was waiting for the others to warp in on a space STF earlier today, and a Recluse with the Borg set warped in. In my peripheral vision, I thought Nero brought the Narada out to give us a hand, lol. That thing is gigantic!

This one of the reasons i like the size of the deflector, doubles the size of the ship too.

This is definitely the ugliest set ever on this ship, this is why it's pretty enjoyable.

The shield is not working well either, looks wise. The green "borg" markings look like low res versions when compared to other ships... they appear blurry and resemble smudges. Perfect if you want to RP flying through a swarm of gekli hatch-lings!

But yes, the deflector is comical. It very much says "I HAZ DEFLECT! RAWR!"

That makes me want this ship more. I'd love to fly a Recluse with the Borg set (I have the entire set minus the shield) and name it U.S.S. Narada.

So funny - I was just thinking this too..the Borg Deflector is absolutely recockulous on the Tholian Carrier...it is WAY to big to a point of comedy. Why it was allowed to roll out that way is beyond me.

The problem with art fixes is that ego gets in the way of change; I work with several artits and they constantly give pushback to obvious, needed changes and fixes.

please leave the deflector the way it is.I think it looks very alien and it fits the ship IMHO
