Why Does My Compressed Cryo Launcher Shoot Out Of My Foot?

It just looks pretty strange.

It is the only weapon that does this.

    Lol it sounds too funny when you two say that about the gun:D I've never had any problems with that gun before, but then again I've only used it twice.

    Love the cripple gun. Had a similar thing happen, now I'm sorry I didn't get screenshots. Had a bunch of Fleet pals together on my bridge the other night lolly-gaggin and shooting the breeze then we all started with the pointless pew-pew so I whipped out my Mk XII Hyper-Compressed Snow Cone Shooter as I like to call it. I'm popping off a few and turning the camera so I can see who's beating my Boff's with Ferengi whips when I notice someting VERY odd. So I stop and ask "Uhh guys, watch when I fire this thing. Doesn't it look like the re-coil blast is shooting out my...?" Never did get the rest out all I heard on our Teamspeak was laughter. Painfully funny to look at, guess it's one way to cure 'roids from sitting in the center seat too long! :eek:

    The left arm instead of holding the weapon is... well it's not where it's supposed to be.:D

    In this shot you can see the emanation point of the blast came from my avatars feet instead of up where the rifle would be.

    I posted about this in the bugs section ages ago so here's hoping a fix comes soon. :)

    pics or it didnt happen ? are you short sighted by any chance ?

    Firstly the gun has been bugged as it used the wrong model, then when the model was fixed the mk 12 (dunno about mk 11) has been firing from the feet. Do you just run around playing STO with your eyes closed or something ? :rolleyes:

    This is not a bug (at least the foot one) ... never heard of cool and stinky feet before?

    I actually like the gun even more because of this.

    Though the crippled left arm on small chars looks kinda double quirky (since the weapon is nearly double the size of my char).

    You've never heard that old internet meme before?

    Seeing as the weapon looks and works the same as any other shotgun in the game for all of my characters, I had never heard of this situation happening before. You seem to act like it is perfectly normal and intended.
