Cruiser Refit only 4 consoles?

Can anyone help me i'm new and i tried looking this up everywhere. I have a Cruiser Refit and i have 5 consoles active (1 tac, 2 eng, 2 sci), but i can't put my 2nd sci officer. I have 5 active on ship but can put person on consoles, it's not even listed on consoles list but it is equipt on ship. Thank you for any help, just start playing game last week and LOVING IT!!!!

    Welcome to the game. I think the confusion you're experiencing is tied to the vocabulary surrounding ship equipment and powers. The console slots are spaces for equipment that modifies your ship, bridge officer stations are distinct from the number of consoles a ship has. The cruiser refit that you are currently flying does have a tactical console slot, two engineering console slots and two science console slots; however it only has four bridge officer stations one tactical ensign, two engineering lieutenants and one science ensign. What you have equipped in terms of bridge officers is correct and is at the upper limit for that ship. It can be a somewhat unclear transition because the light cruiser you just upgraded from did have a 1:1 console to bridge officer layout, however this is not the case for the rest of the ships as you upgrade through the ranks. You haven't done anything wrong, and I hope this helps clear that up for you. Happy flying.

    Thank you, that was a big help i now understand. Great forum here good help and quick too. Can you answer 1 more thing? I see we are in Episode 6 now is there a way for me to go back and do the other episodes also? Thanks again.

    Hi and welcome to the game!
    We are in season 6. Most of the episodes are there. The ones that are not there are the special ones. for example, Hearts and Minds is only playable during Friday the 13th. Hope this helps. Do you have any other questions?

    No more question you guys are very helpful, i played FFXI for 6 years so i got some MMO experience, but man i'm a big Star Trek fan and this game let's you do almost 99% everything from the show and movies. Thankx for all the help i gotta get back to my ship!!!

    Seasons are what Cryptic calls major game updates. And you have access to all of the old updates and their content.
