I have noticed a black flickering texture on the background of one of the red alerts i duno which one i.e which system (if that even matters). It was dark green background one on your right when you warp in iirc.
Although not the greatest screenshot, there is clearly a missing texture on the bottom of the throne and also one under the Ferasan buddy of mine (might be a little harder to see).
Any ETA on the Defiant and Vo'Quv getting their textures fixed? One texture on the Defiant but the Vo'Quv is a disgraceful mess that needs to be addressed quickly!
I will assume that is why my assault rifle is invisible... the weapon works but is entirely invisible. If I remember I will get you the make and model when I play later. I have two assault rifles and only the one is invisible.

Why is every comment that shows the slightest hint of being negative towards a developer or Cryptic as a whole, automatically tagged as "trolling" ? It was an honest question, one which I don't expect an answer to. Most questions asked, goes unanswered (doesn't matter who is doing the asking)

Being an Environment Artist is a job. And like any job, I have tasks that I have to get done by certain times. I am currently working on those tasks. If my schedule in the future gives me time to fix bugs, I will do so. If I get ahead on my schedule, I will often fill in some time by bug fixing. Black textures on ships would fall to the ship artists to fix. They are in the same boat I am in terms of following a schedule.
Bugs are subdivided and given priorities based on severity of the bug. Something that is quite literally breaking the game (not just as professed by some players), is going to be addressed as quickly as it can be. Something that is cosmetic, has no effect on game play, and for most people, there is a functional workaround for (such as here), are lower priority, and will be addressed as time allows. Many of these have been addressed, and many more will be, I just don't know exactly when that will be.
I was happy when I saw that the original Season 6 patch notes mentioned 2 KDF bridges had their open space errors fixed especially since I had sent in 2 different tickets a while back but was disappointed to discover that the Kri'stak still has this problem as it is the one bridge I have been wanting to use but it is nice that the Lukara was fixed so at least that is one more usable KDF bridge.
@tacofang: This is way off topic but I hope you'll consider it anyway. There is a small map I would like to see returned to the game. The Lounge fromt he old ESD. Are there any plans to make this a special limited reward for fleet starbases to add?
Now for a topic related question. Is there any time frame or rough guestimation for DX11 to be out of beta for STO?
I don't know that there are any plans for the old lounge. I'm honestly not even sure what it looks like. It's possible it could be re-incorporated somewhere, at some point, but not likely within Starbases.
DX11 Progress is still ongoing as far as I know. All of that is handled by the Graphics Programming team, who is separate from the STO team, so it's really up to them when it's all done. I haven't heard any ETA.
Cryptic should just recycle the old ESD into some type of of war torn Empok Nor like starbase for the KDF & Feds to fight over. Make it an event, STF, or PvP map, anything would really do.

I had discussed something like that with a friend of mine a while back. Have a KDF side mission based on old intelligence where the Klingons take ESD. The old map though signifies their data being dated though.

I still have these black spots appearing on my Advanced Heavy Cruiser Retrofit ship. I like using DX11 because of the performance boost, but it's a bummer to see these unsightly black marks on a ship I purchased.

I replayed Frozen in hope that things would be fixed since last time but I was totally disappointed! Not only that, I found a lot more issues by taking some time wondering around in it bugging out on me. You guys should just throw this out for DX11 and start over!
This mission is also majorly bugged! You can easily recreate iy doing the following. Don't be friends with Obelish! Trigger the Transport Inhibitor console before shooting Obelisk's guards. This makes the mssion non-completeable! Why does that console light up to deactivate before the previous objective is complete?
Another ship is sorely forgoteen and looks aweful as a result! )= I'd just like to note that the people in the ship modeling deparent still have yet to fix any of the others I've posted also.
I have to question why these people are still making new ships when the old look like that! Where is my Vesta class also? :P I don't want a Regent Class! :mad:
It's very disappointing to see that almost all of what has been posted in this thread remains an issue. As a liketime subscriber, Cryptic offers me no new content outside of boring grinds and no fixes to the objects and missions that actually make this game enjoyable. Thank goodness for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron this Tuesday and Sleeping Dogs just waiting to be played.
Thanks to another thread of people complaining about the Imperial Class skin not being available anymore. I have more screenshots to post for the people in the ship texture department for them to completely ignore!
Please pass on my discontent to the ship artist team responsible for fixing these for not doing absolutely squat as of yet for anything ship related that has been posted!
