Title Pretty much sums up my question,

I have both the Anniversary Bortas, and the Negh'var and im trying to figure out which one to use!

Im an Engineer and want to Build a Tank/Healer Build (If Possible), for the Fleet Base Defense/Blockade missions and the Standard STF's!

Im looking for all feedback and hopefully some prospective build advice!

Many Thanks :D

BOff-wise you can spec the BortasQu the same as the Negh'var (i believe) but the Bortie is at a disadvantage in Speed and Turn rate.

You could throw a lt cmdr science officer into the bortas, but I don't think that makes up for all the short comings and bortas is a bit more tac console heavy.

Have you considered the mirror universe vorcha? Little less hull but if the stats on the wiki are correct the bonus power is nice.

I know they posted those stats when they released the info on the ships but I wouldn't be surprised if those didn't make it into game.

Have all 3 ships, so will look into the mirror Vorcha, however the Hull is a bit lower than the Negh'var as far as i remember?

Guess for now its looking like the Negh'var :D

It does have a bit less hull yes, but personally I like the ensign science and the extra power from the MU Vorcha.

With the extra power you can put more to shields or engines for defense or auxiliary for healing. The ensign science you can use as a power for hull or shield healing while there is only so much you can get from a engineering ensign.

Bortas. You can sort of use it like the Federation uses cruisers. Stuff it full of beams, diplomats, and muffins and call it a "job well done here! here!".

    Or. You can do this.

Mirror Universe you can do something like this.

That is actually the low tier ship in the video. Not even the new fleet D7. But that is what I do with my Vorcha, I'm sure it will work on the mirror version. I'm sure because I've done it on that ship also. So I like cruisers, sue me.

Thanks for all the advice people, im probably gonna go with the Anniversary Bortas!

As a tank the extra Hull comes in handy, plus with the Universal slots i can adjust the role of Healer/Tank on the Fly, Plus it just looks really badass!!

    Thanks Again!!

Another nice set of videos. :) Thanks

BTW... has anyone else noticed the Bortas have a bit lower defense rating? I wondering if the defense reduction basically balances out the extra hull?

After spending the last few hours testing all 3 ships (Bortas, Negh'Var and Mirror vorcha Battlecrusier) i have decided that the ship that best suits my style is the Negh'var! Provides the mobility i need with the tankiness required!

Cheers for all the Sound Advice, was very Appreciated!!

Good choice ;) My personal fave. I put a RCS console in the 4th eng console slot and it's awesome to fly and still plenty tanky :D
