I checked around a week ago and they were around 400m. I got one for around 300m about 3 weeks ago, and I don't see what the big fuss is all about. For one, they're ugly/plain looking. And then you only get 1 science console so you're going to have less shields then pretty much everyone else in the game (or at least everyone that uses field generators). Admittedly though, I haven't gotten around to a super-high-end weapons/console layout as I'm still not sure which weapons I really want to use with it. Right now I'm going with Phased-Tetryon, but they don't seem all that special either. Meh.

The big deal with the JHAS is that it has about a 30% higher turnrate than other escorts (nearly on-par with BoPs), and it's one of the few escorts in the game with 5 tac console slots. It's overpriced because of how rare it is, but it IS a very good ship.

It's the best escort in the game. Period. In the right hands it can shield tank like a cruiser, it's bridge officer options are so loose anyone can make it sing. It's got a turn rate about the same if not better then a BOP, it doesen't NEED another extra sci consoles, it's easily the best 'scort in the game and in the right hands is worth any price tag.
Cryptic has already said they intend to re-release the Jemmy during the Winter in a similar promotion "as before" - That's all we know.
I might pick up another one... *rubs chin*

this little ship is the best ship in the game period it kills the biggest and badest battleships and cruisers in a few seconds and can tank but nothing cant stand up against it long enough to have to tank.
its completly our of balance and and there putting more ships like it in the game with the
fleet escorts to throw the game even further out of balnce.
im getting the fleet tac because all other ships are worthless anymore.
they will own everything and people will stop pvping till they get a fleet tac.
they might nerf them when people complain about the pawnage or just come out with a new super cruiser to try to get people to spend more.
maybe the bortasqu tac was supposed to be that but it doesnt touch the jem hedar cant scratch it last long enough against it to hit it.
its really rediculas how op'd this tiny ship is.
if i see one again in a pvp ill just go make a cup of coffee and try again after getting my mission point its really a waste of time to try to fight one
when one ship has ten time more damage then anyone else on his team there is somthing very wrong.
Im sure people will reply to this that if you do this or that you can win but its all bull. when a 2.5% proc
drops your shields in 1 or 2 seconds through a 68.2% power insulation there isnt even a chance to try.
maybe if you stand on your head and spit wooden nickles you would win.

While your right in some cases I cant help but think you might just be a bit sh*t lol. People can kill BUGs, it does happen. In fact there's a thread in the PVP forums on brainstorming ways of doing it.

lol, it's a bit better yes, but it's not that much better
If the ship has 10 times more damage than you, it's probably the pilot making the difference rather than the extra console that is boosting it's dps by a whopping 6%
Problem with the JHAS isn't its damage output being particularly strong, it's that it tanks on par with a cruiser (stronger hull than the poor, supposedly Eng-oriented Patrol Escort, inexplicably has two Lt. universals to boot) and sacrifices nothing in the way of that damage output to compensate.
EDIT: Forgot to mention the biggest thing, actually... its turn is completely absurd. It not only has the best base non-BoP escort turn in the game, it's orders of magnitude better. At upper levels, escorts are half defined by their turn and there are very few ships in the game that can match the JHAS's baseline, and those that do need to push themselves to their absolute limits.

The 2 uni consoles bring nothing to the game that the other escorts don't have. If you are smart you are going to use one slot for a sci and one slot for an engineer.
It's true the bug when piloted by a competent player can outlast most 1v1 situations, but pvp isn't typically about 1v1. Bring your friends and said bug pilot will die. Try and take it down on your own at your own risk.
Oh and to whoever said the bug was ugly... It's one of the most beautiful, elegant ships in the game. Are you mad?!
Agree to disagree? personally I think bringing no sci abilities or just 1 ensign eng ability into a pvp fight would put me at a disadvantage.
I don't think you're going to find a lot of people who'll agree that the JHAS has a layout disadvantage, and your original claim that the two unis don't do anything that other escorts can't was flat-out wrong (I can think of two or three layouts off the top of my head that can't be replicated).
I love my jemmies and hope they do make another event so more people get a chance to have one.

Yeah I so wanted one of these, tried at the Gamma Quadrant Event with no such luck. I would love to get my hands on one saving up but they keep going up and more and more out of reach. I have a D'Kora that hasn't been used yet as well as 100 million EC but I doubt I will be able to make enough EC in time unfortunately.
I sure hope Cryptic re-runs the Attack Ship again, even in a lock box as a second rare ship or something. I'm a huge Jem'hadar ship design fan as well as a Tactical Escort player.

but that wasn't my point. My point was that doubling up doesn't really give you a better advantage. What on earth are you going to do with a double lt tac build? it's just lol to even consider it.
Lets forget about the lt sci and the lt eng as I already stated above that is the most sensible way to go.
Leaving only double lt sci as a possibility, as you still have an ensign eng to play with. This I hadn't considered as a possible build and might try this tonight (thx).
I guess what I'm trying to say is that bringing no sci abilities to a game is a handicap for you and your team. You then have to rely purely on your team for sci heals and cannot dish out any yourself.
I'm not saying the bug isn't OP. It is, but the uni BO slots do not, imo bring anything special to this game.
