I noticed when you are editing faces in the tailor the faces structure stays the same now when selecting the options "basic" then selecting a premade face. The only features that change are the hairstyle, color, makeup, etc. This is a problem for people like me who can't design faces very well since what I used to do was select a premade face I like, then alter it from there using advanced option.
You posted during the overnight here in the US where it seems like many players are located.
We're still sleeping. May take a bit longer.
I;d check for you but the ports the game uses are blocked on this network so I can;t log in.
edit: I actually thought you were going to discuss the NPC tailors. many of them use a male cardy popup image even though the tailors themselves are of a different race and gender.

I see that bug, but I am talking about editing faces, try selecting different premade faces under "basic", you will see the outer features like hair, eye and skin color change, but the underlying facial structure is the same, where before it wasn't the case.
Really sucks when I have a few bridge officers that look identical now lol.
Could some of you people reading this thread please try to check the tailor yourselves and post the results , it only takes a minute so I will know if its not just me experiencing this.
Yep, you are correct. I tried with both male and female characters, as well as creating a new character from scratch. The basic head shape stays the same (nose, mouth, eye, forehead, etc. size and placement) while the attachments change (ears, hair, color, etc.).
However, you can use the randomize button at the bottom of the advanced screen to change all the things at once. Do it a few times until you have a config you would like to start from before making your own adjustments.
ok good to know that its not just me, however I suck at designing faces and the random ones just end up looking ugly or funny, so thats why I really need for them to add all the different premade faces again.
I cant alter my comm badges or set my belts such as Terran empire sash correctly on my newest bridge officer. I recently got 3 boffs from completing duty officer missions. 2 were altered correctly but it seems no matter what uniform i pick i cannot selecct a badge and no option for rank pips.
