Uniform Customization Has Had Some Slight, but Significant Changes July 27, 2012

So after I had been playing Star Trek Online for the past hour or so today, I decided to return to the Earth Spacedock to do some uniform customization. When I got there I found that I could no longer change the Combadge or uniform Pips and rank on my character or my bridge officers. This was a shock in some ways because like the other Millions of players, I want the experience to be as complete as possible, and this change to the uniform designer certainly is not a positive one. I am open to anyone who wants to talk about this or other negative changes to the game.

    I don't think this is intentional (it would be stupid to think it was; I hope it isn't). Last I knew on the matter, it was a bug somehow developed via their latest patch.

    Usually patches improve games. Sometimes they throw a spanner in the works.

    First..Millions of palyers --thats funny.

    Second, Look at the Seasons in the past...2, 3, and esp 4 all caused huge bugs that took months to fix...some even still exist. Shouldnt really be a shocker here.

    I was very frustrated by this as well. I just got the Bajoran uniform and had a character built to play with a buddy who just got the game but I wanted to make some quick changes and now I can't truly rebuild the character that I wanted to and was able to just a few days ago. I really don't understand why the changes were made and if this is just a bug I really hope they fix it soon.

    I would like a long coat option my KDF.

    When I logged in to my Orion female KDF Commander, she appeared topless at character selection. In addition to missing combadge and rank options, legs disappearing, I have also noticed the collar/neckline area disappearing when wearing the Original Series Loose Top.

    That's been around for ages and I doubt it'll ever get resolved. The models are built outward as they're accessed. You'll notice that when you get that NPC interaction window, the NPCs will sometimes start with the eyeballs, then the body and head, etc.

    The DS9 "Do you want to dock?" npc is occasionally missing her left jaw and cheek for a few seconds. That's where I see it quite often.

    It is different from this issue though.

    edit: To the original poster, at the upper left of the forums, there's an option for Today's Posts which folks can scan quickly to see what we're all talking about.

    I realized the problem too when i was going to change my buff's combadge and saw theirs no option to change com badge and rank pips.This could be a missing stuff like the system info when the fleet starbase patch was launched but it was fixed after a week when i log on. Cryptic must do something about this problem and detect any missing stuff before players start complaining even more
