what does the holding tier do

u get +1 holding tier as a reward, what is it?

    Maybe it increases the Fleet Level.

    now that's a old response I can remember when we could pop your drive on a excuse like that.:cool:

    TO OP, Be more clear haven't run across this problem and obviously neither has any other posters...

    It is one of the rewards for doing one of the upgrade projects for Fleet Starbases. Each upgrade we have done has increased the Fleet Level by one so that is why I think the Holding Tier has to do with Fleet Level.

    For example, the Construct Shipyard Tier 1 project has 1 Shipyard Stage, 1,500 Starbase Military XP, 1 Holding Tier, 1,000 Starbase Level, and Starbase Shipyard Tier 1 for the rewards. 1 Shipyard Stage is what I assume the unlocked Projects for having a shipyard are for like Military Buffs, Operational Assets, and Ships projects. 1,500 Starbase Military XP and 1,000 Starbase Level are regular XP. Starbase Shipyard Tier 1 is what I assume the model for the shipyard is called. All that is left is 1 Holding Tier. Since the only other change in doing an upgrade project is Fleet Level, then I assume the Holding Tier is how the Fleet Level goes up.

    Your starbase is your fleet's "holding" and it's level is increased by increasing "holding level," yes. Supposedly there will be further "holdings" released in the future which will presumably have their own, independent levels.
