What's Up with the Compressed Cryo Launcher?

Dear Mister Cryo Launcher,

Why oh why do you look like an antiproton gun (AP)? You have a cool name and a cool picture but you look like every other AP gun out there :( You are a great gun but what went wrong?

    Since when does every weapon or armor have to look exactly like it's inventory icon?

    Not sure where your going with that. Was that sarcasm or douchery?

    Probably sarcasm although may not have been intended as such. We have a number of NPCs where their popup images look nothing like their body images.

    Like how the cute blonde in the academy becomes a cardassian dude? Or when beaming up, my science officer turns into my Klingon?

    As for the Cryolauncher, a part of me wants it to end up looking like the Liquid Nitrogen Gun from Ratchet and Clank.

    It looks like something really dirty on the small picture. I definitely want to see that on my back! :D

    I've been farming the Tholian missions many times since launch and got 5 shields and 5 suits to show for it. So far no gun. Those I do the missions with have the opposite problem and get guns but no shields or no suits.

    I have heard this a bunch from in-game groups and friends as well. Personally, I got the shield and armor on my first run. About a dozen runs later (doing all quests), still no gun. I can't decide which is greater, my frustration or my fun. I stopped doing runs about a week ago.
