Ok
I have gotten rid of a new member to our fleet!!!! They just joined Monday, and now Friday, they be kicked out!!!!
Why? They wanted some kind of revenge against their prior fleet due to some disagreement over the starbase, them feeling that being able to do more, have more fleet credit, therefore having some kind of status in the fleet that would somehow give them more power.....?
REALLY??? ABSURD,,,INSANE,,,STUPID
Leaderboards in fleets are not there to annoy other fleet members, its to see who is doing what, and maybe thank the crew for efforts well done, at the end of the day, we want our fleets and our starbases, nothing more nothing less, guys get over it already
Statement from me as a fleet leader.....People stop the BS already, its a game, and its good to want to win, but not by "getting even", not by complaining to your fleet leaders that you shoud have the right to do this or that.
If your fleet has some rules on donating, follow them the fleet has been good enough to follow up to this point, dont sell them out now. If no rules are set, do what you can, as much or as little as you see fit. If you are in front on the leader board, IT MEANS NOTHING AT THIS POINT, ( unless your fleet has something in mind for it ) It gives you NO power, nothing more than bragging rights.
And lastly, dont join other fleets and try , or attempt to drag them into your drama net, most fleets in here have no problem with challange, no problem with pitting their skills against the next guy, but no one really wants to out and out grind a vendeta against other people or fleets.
As far as people contributing more than others, their stockpiles will eventually run out and they will be in the same boat as everyone else. Besides, that is what the 30 minute special projects are for. Only thing they need to change is make the rest of requirements match the 600 Fleet Mark requirement.
Exactly. I said "no thanks" to drama and politics in my gaming life and have my own fleets as well.
Same here. Too much drama and political talk as it is in general chat and having this silly "leaderboard" does nothing but add to such things within Fleets. The leaderboard should have been only visible to the fleet leader, at most. Only real life friends and family are allowed into my Fleets. Sadly, none of them play STO anymore. So, I basically have really awesome bank-storage and my own personal Starbase.

We do just fine with small numbers, but try to add or build up the place and it feels like trying to move in 38 year old woman with her 6 kids......HASSLE:eek:
I'm glad I'm in a tiny fleet with limited recruitment capability. We have about 10 or so members of semi-active status. So there isn't much drama. As someone who has played DDO.... you have my dearest sympathies as well...
Leader boards should be removed. They serve no purpose other than to create internal fleet politics and conflict IMO.
I said the exact same thing, long before they hit TRIBBLE... that this was going to cause issues... We had the foresight to put a message out on our fleet site saying basically "No drama... first come first served... you all see the timers..... you all have your own stocks of items... if someone gets there before you... that's life. Any complaints about the leader board will go unanswered. continuation of drama may lead to demotion or removal from the fleet... "
