Since Cryptic decided lockbox ships should be equal to Fleet ships, it makes sense that the special weapons that come with them be boosted too.
Hence I suggest that Mk XII Spiral Wave disruptors be made available to buy at the dilithium store instead of the levelless versions that come with the ship (keep the ones that come with the ship as they are). Also, I think they should have a second damage modifier, making them [acc]x2, [dmg]x2.
They would be in line with advanced fleet weapons, but would be inferior to elite fleet weapons that have their own special ability.
I agree that they need to be buffed.

I do not see a need to give them 4 bonuses though.

The upcoming ultra rare items ... who knows ?? 4 ... maybe that makes sense.
but [acc]*2 [dmg]*2 is a way ... waaay overpowered weapon.
I have 8 of these equipped on my Beam Boat Odyssey, so Yes, they can be used on other ships...
However, with 2xACC, they're already one of the best Beam Array weapons in the game, and really don't need another buff... And MkXII weapons are far too valuable to be put in the Dilithium store. They deserve to be a reward, say for a long term Top Tier Fleet Starbase assignment to put them in the Fleet Store, or the next Featured Episode...
most scaling weapons need a buff period, they really do need to go higher then the very rare Mk X or whatever they cap out at is.
This i can agree with. Quad Cannons for example really should be the same at VA as a MK XII DHC with 4 Dmg modifiers.
In fact IMHO all the scaling weapons should work out as equivelent to their normal MK XII vershon with the relevant suffix's. With the scaling working backwards from there. Not Forwards from MK I or whever it starts.

The fact that they get the power of phasers and disruptors could be counted as their 4th "bonus" .
I'd also like the Quad Phasers added to the D-Store and be buffed and able to equip more than one on ships (if you already purchased the Sao Paulo) .
I would also like to see them added to the STF store with [Borg] modifier. As for adding them to a fleet assignment to put in the fleet store, I disagree. I am the only one in my Fed fleet that owns a Galor. I would not feel right about asking (more like telling) my fleet members the need to contribute to a project that they can't reap the rewards for. I would say add it to a ship Doff assignment for Galor owners after their base reaches a certain tier.
We are already overpowering the enemy. STO isn't exactly difficult.
For what reason should weapons who are already among the most powerful in the game get buffed even more with one extra modifier on top of that.
That said, I DO think equipping cannons would be ideal since the D'Kora can use dual heavies and do everything else that the Galor can do reasonably well.

Theyre pretty awesome, even levelless... The disruptor proc and the phaser proc are two of the best in the game, and this weapon has them both. My Galor has 7 of these, and I seem to put out pretty good DPS.
However I do think that these should get the same buff the the Quad Cannons got in Season 6.

Just like some of the carrier pets, you have to own the Galor and have it in your personal fleet in order to purchase the weapons.

i stumbled across these spiral wave disruptors and now want them. what do you use on your tactical consoles for these weapons?
I agree they need a buff, especially with the new phased tetryon weapons outshining them so bad in damage. Im starting to wonder if i should even use them on my Galor.
