We have these shuttles and they are used for maybe 3 things So i have written and worked out a way of doing a shuttle PvP. i have 2 ideas of how this works.
Shuttle PvP:
This would take place in one of 2 places
Thick Astaroid Field: The Field is so clustered with Rock, only shuttles and small Fighters can penetrate it.
Debris Field: The field is potentialy unsafe for larger ships. Fighters and Shuttles recommended.
More detailed description of maps later.
Each side would start next to their respective Factions Carrier
KDF: Vo'quv
Fed: Atrox
The Carriers are targetable but will likly one shot enemy fighters.
Inside the Fields would be rescource points
Dilithium moons in the Astaroids
Salvagable Wrecks in the Debris
Game type 1:
Each side starts with a set number of fighters, each kill reduces this counter by 1, the idea is to reduce the enemys counter to 0 meaning the enemy carrier is out of fighters and must retreat. If a team controls more resource points then the enemy (3 moons - 2 moons) The team that holds those resources gain fighters periodically, making the game about kills and protecting your resources. if the resources held are tied (2-2) then the resource advantage halts for both sides until either side gain or loose a resource.
Game type 2:
Each team starts with an empty resource bar, the objective is for each team to move in and capture the resource point, each point captured starts to generate points for that teams bar, each resource point taken will spawn 3 Worker Bees which will begin to mine, in order to take the point from the enemy, these 3 need to be killed, each one killed reduces the amount mined, if all are killed the resource stops donating to whom ever captured it, and becomes open for taking, the worker bees will however respawn one at a time if the point is left for to long. First team to fill their carrier Wins.
Maps:
Astaroid Field: As you can imagine a huge field of rock, but the rock is so tightly packed togeather it has the potential of crushing a starship, the field is rich in dilithium so fighters and shuttles are used to secure the area, filled with small and large astorioids, some are hollow inside, with one or more ways inside, others form tunnels and archs whilst the rest are just solid rock, in amongst these rocks are 3/5 (depending how many players would be able to join this mode) Dilithium moons, rich with resources, some are close to the rocks and protected, but the more rich moons are more out in the open.
Debries Field: A Large field of Space hulks created due to a black hole in a neighbouring system, slowly dragging in pieces from around the quandrent, to form a massive junkyard of old ship parts and station pieces. Some of it is to old and beyond use, but alot of it is salvagable, with the war on going and threats from all sides, both the Federation and KDF are always in the need of resources and plenty can be found amongst the junk. Inside is a weaving network of conjoined hulks, ruined starships and decommisioned sataliites all offering hiding places and cover from dog sights, a few of the defunct stations have their doors open enough for small ships to enter and skirmish.
Both teams would get Dilithium, Energy credits, Fleet marks and Military Commadation points which could later be spent on pvp gear of course the winning side would alot more then the other side. The players on the winning side also get Mystery resource pod which when opened will contain blue/purple pvp gear dilithium with a chance to get one of a number of Purple Duty officers with abilitys more geared for pvp.
Each side would start next to their respective Factions Carrier
KDF: Vo'quv
Fed: Atrox

Maybe you should change this into a FvF only pvp ... because I think no Klingon is stupid enough to engage with Feds in shuttle PvP when there are only 2 weak Klingon shuttles while the Fed have .. how many??? I think theremust be almost 20, since nearly every week there is a new release, one more overpowered then the other before.
Have fun in fighting against your own  And keep on buying overpowered fed shuttles for ... I don't know for what because of the missing balance there is no shuttle PvP ... but it keeps the game running!!! :P
Though that is true, we could do with some more klingon Shuttles and fighters, We should make a call for the Skul Fighters to become purchasable.
Make it happen Cryptic!
Cryptic won't make it happen, because the 15 % of the player base playing Klingon don't spend as much $$$ as the 85% of the player base playing the Fed faction.

Well, let me think about this. We can all agree the Federation has a LOT of shuttles. But the Klinks have one for free. They get a fighter from the C-Store, they get the Chariot from the Vet Rewards. And lets not forget the Ferengi & Tholian craft that equals Five.
Not playing just because you don't have enough toys is alittle unfair. Besides, if Cryptic ever did this you'd know they'd use it as a way of releasing a bunch more shuttles, Klink side in particular.

It's also not hard to imagine them bringing out shuttle ship sets if they ever saw the $$ potential.

Therefore: no no shuttles for Klingons.
Awesome idea!, but doubt it could work with how few shuttles KDF has, and how many Feds have.
Wah:mad:
