Tholian Incursion Event - July 20th - 2 Timeslots (BST and PDT/EDT)

Hi Captains!

I am organizing an in-game (Holodeck) Tholian Incursion event for this coming Friday to celebrate the launch of Season 6.

The first timeslot will be at 8pm BST/ noon PDT/ 3pm EDT.

The second timeslot will be at 5pm PDT/ 8pm EDT/ 1am BST.

Let's plan to meet on Nukara Prime in the Eta Eridani Sector Block at Base Camp. From there, we'll create teams and do various missions. Feel free to come on a character of either faction and any career (minimum level requirement is 50). Don't forget your EV suit :)Please join Zone chat or the REDALERT channel to see any instructions/ communication from myself. Once the event starts, we will be using Zone chat on Nukara Prime.

If you can't make it Friday, I would like to try and do these often, and on different days/ times. Feel free to post constructive feedback in here with ideas, including if you would like to see this expanded to other types of events (STFs, PvP, Fleet Actions etc.).

I hope to see many of you on Friday!

    Great idea!

    But I really hope STFs, Fleet Actions, the Vault Shuttle Event, the Defera Borg Zone and PvP will soon be implemented in the "new end-game system", i.e. rewarding fleet marks...

    will try to make the 8 EDT one, local church bazzar will be going on and i may be going/ coming back for food.

    I don't know if this will occur during the "Fleet Mark" event :) But, we'll be venturing out on Nukara even if it's not.

    :confused:.....dont u mean 5 pm for the first timslot and 8 pm for the second timeslot?

    If the pattern continues as observed so far, the first timeslot will start just after a Fleet Marks Event ends, and the second timeslot will happen an hour before a Fleet Marks Event starts.

    EDIT: If Fleet Marks are more important to you than Dilithium, but you'd still like to participate in this event, I recommend the following: Do the event anyway, but don't turn in your missions until a Fleet Marks Event is active.

    Not going, due to the amount of lag when I first visited the planet and completed one of the easy mission.

    It was some very serious lag.

    Ive not run into any lag issues on Nukara. The only unusual issue I had was when I beamed down I caught on fire momentarily, even though I was inside the safe zone.

    Interesting, I didn't know that it would work like that.

    I was curious if you would receive fleet marks if you started a mission during the event, but finished after, or started a mission before a fleet mark event and ended it during.

    I'll give this a try.

    I would join but thats GW2 beta weekend. nice to know the times are freindly to us UK players though, keep those times and im certain to join next time.

    I'll be at work sadly and Nukara has been dc'n me 100% of the time I try to entire it. :(

    Please plan some other days. Sounds like a good event, but due to peace and harmony in the home issues the 20th is right out.

    Fleet Marks are given in addition to regular rewards when you play and turn in the missions durning the "Fleet Marks" event that you can find on the hourly event calendar in your mission journal (default key "J").

    During the fleet event you may have to switch instances to get the zone wide kill mission that you want. There seems to be a kill 50 for 10 marks, kill 100 for 15 marks, kill 200 for 20 marks and kill 250 for 640 dil, each instance seems to offer only one type. Obviously you want the 50 kills for 10 marks but you may have to jump around to find it. Also in some instances the zone wide kill mission doesn't show up at all, just the mining one. Not sure if this is working as intended?

    could you delay the start for 20 min. the game crashed and it is checking on files and it would take 10-20 min.
