Question about the exchange

I been trying to buy some Heavy Phaser Turrets off the exchange but it keeps telling me to try again later.

I want to know was this a designed feature to make leveling starbases slower or is it a glitch in the exchange?

I know few days ago I couldnt buy anything it kept telling me that but now I am just wondering whats going on.

    Haven't been on today, but if it is still happening, it is a glitch that they haven't fixed, yet. Hopefully they will soon.

    I hope so cause with this glitch it has the sellers thinking no ones buying their insane prices currently theres two packs of 10 phaser turrets up on the exchange for 10,000 ec each. I would love to get them but it keeps telling me try again later.

    yeah this isnt just for the phaser turrests. Ive had this issue recently with regular items.

    Sometimes it's because the item has already been purchased, and it hasn't disappeared from the list. Sometimes refreshing will fix it.

    The biggest problem that the exchange has, is perfectly unsold items disappearing from the exchange roster. I've stuck stuff up on the exchange, and 20 minutes later had it vanish from the exchange, but it's still listed on my "for sale" list.

    And then people go ahead and buy the things more expensive than what I'm selling them for because they can't see it. :(

    Problem i have had is i can buy from the exchange but i cant sell anything. I can put them up in the "sell" part but the items dont appear in the "buy" section of the exchange. Are they trying to phase out the exchange?

    The exchange is busted atm, I haven't been able to buy or sell anything since S6 went live.

    There is an issue with the exchange. Searching for items is messed up, and I think it shows false or old items for results. thus you can't buy them. If you try to search in a general area it doesn't seem to work, but if you go to the specific area, like personal weapons, then it works.

    It doesn't work for me either way. Even if I'm very specific down to actual item name in the correct categories, I cannot buy anything, and haven't been able to since season 6 went live. It's been a real downer for my game, as a large part of it for me is the trading. :(

    Well they need to hop on it and get it fixed up. I am tired of trying to buy stuff for my fleet and cant cause it keeps telling me try again later. We started thinking in the fleet that starbase related items couldnt be bought via the exchange if your in a fleet.

    Very well known bug that;s been around for months. It's just gotten worse.

    You have to pick the drop downs and the departments along the left hand side to see the most current list of what you are looking for.

    Folks may want to take a second and skim the Most recent posts list as this has been discussed at some length.
