Can someone clear up something for me?.I was told by somebody that at level 45,you can buy the armitage class ship?well, when I tried to buy it,It say's I'm restricted from using it!what's up with that!:mad:was the info I got false? or maybe have to wait until level 50?
Definitely not tier 6. Following the traditional pattern, it's only debatably 5.5. The Odyssey and Fleet Retrofits have hull, shield, and loadout advantages. The Armitage only has a loadout advantage.
I went from a cruiser to an Armitage. Haven't gone back since.
Ditto. It's a great escort for cruiser players because (for an escort at least) it has good defensive abilities and isn't so agilie it's impossible to aim. Changing from cruiser to Defiant or MVAE was a lot harder (in my opinion at least).
Love my Armatage. Please don't nerf it. If anything some better pet A.I. and a display of some type showing how many I have launched/still alive and what they are doing would be greatly appreciated. Oh and the ability to command each wing separately.
NERF. NERF. NERF. If anything is so blatantly OP and gamebreaking its an escort carrier. absolutley TRIBBLE.
It's not much different from the MVAE and is FAR from the only escort I see in Fed vs. Fed PVP. The more I think about the MVAE the more I think it's biggest "problem" is one under performing pet.
The Armitage has nothing on a Jem'Hadar bug and seems balanced compared to some of the "goodies" klinks have enjoyed. After all who doesn't love Acetone Assimilator spam and ships that combat cloak when they hit 50% hull? Or better yet a B'rel BoP that fire's nothing but torpedo's so it doesn't leave cloak for more than a few seconds?
None of those things have been game breaking yet. I doubt this one will either.
The Armitage gives up some tac slotting for its pet and utility. This ship is most definitely not "Op". I'm also a cruiser fan who put his engineer in this ship. Outstanding loiter. It takes quit a bit of focus fire to convince an engineer Armitage captain to retreat, this thing can take a licking. I also enjoy pairing it with Delta flyers and Danubes.

It isn't OPed and doesn't have turn rate like the Defiant does.

It is not so strong! It is a good ans insidious ship, but I think to be much more dangerous with my MVAE.
