Help!

Guys whenever I try to logon to holodeck a message keeps coming up asking me for a one time code, sent to my email, and since I used a fake email for this I cant logon to holodeck OR tribble, Also how do I get out of the option to test? please send help soon, warp core going critical.

    I didnt have an email when I made it.

    Click the change email option on the account management page? I think you can just change it without verifying first, once you can login to your account (obviously you can).

    FYI, it isn't that hard to just create an email account on hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc.

    I honestly had no idea you could set up an STO account without an e-mail address...

    I'm having the same problem... except my email is real and active. It's not sending the code; I've checked both in Outlook and by going to the regular email page, and the email has not sent. It's not in the junk folders either. :confused:

    How long have you waited? Please remember that mail servers will try and resend as a default once an hour if it doesn't go through the first time.

    Two or three days. At first I could hit cancel and then still log in, but now I can't even do that. I'm completely locked out without the code.

    It's not a problem with my email either; I've checked that and everything is fine with it. The email with the code simply hasn't sent.

    Well then I would open up a support ticket. There's an option to send in an email if you can;t log into the support desk:

    be sure to send it from your email address associated with the account. Also remember to be polite and professional as that will get you a lot better response.

    but you would just login to the site and use a VALID email address..

    To not be at someones beck and call, to not think Facebook is a measure of how cool you are...

    I probably read too much into that.

    Set up a fake free account, ignore it until you hear you need to look (as in this case) and all is good. Really this was a rule way back in the day, most don't know that, but then they complain about spam.

    Rule #2

    One email account to register for things,
    One email account to use when a site asks you for one,

    One email to rule them all, that only your mom and that really hot person you met, gets.

    (Just in case, Rule #1, is to claim you are something you are not. Like a woman, or in IT, or second (only to a girl) an expert and educated/experienced in game design.)

    most are fixating on th emoron not having a reale-mail adress, well i have and i have the same problem since 2 weeks, mostly restarting solved it but not this time, two days no not able to get passed that question and never received an e-mail, you guys are making fun of this wll you will be next

    I tried that before I posted this, it NEEDS verification, but recently, im starting to think that since this is starting to happen alot to me, that all MMO's are going against me! ITS A CONSPIRICEY I SAY!!

    Considering I am trying to play the Friday the 13th event and it will end before I get a stupid code to play. I haven't received the email either, and mine is legit as well. Not to mention I've been playing for a while now.

    Very annoying that all of a sudden I need a f'in code to play.

    Hey guys! what about me? I still cant play, and I've already murdered 78 redshirts looking for answers! I never did anything to deserve such a fate, to be unable to play my favorite MMORPG, because of COMPLICATIONS!!
