New player help.

So Im interested in playing a Saurian but I dont know what traits would be best to pick? should i pick all ground traits? keep them balanced or what should I do? Also Im not sure what "Class" to pick I Enjoy DPS the most so I thought tactical but for someone as new as I am I wondered if maybe the Science one would be best, so that I can heal and be useful while I learn? any help or opinions would be appreciated! :D

    Saurians come with 2 traits already picked, acute senses and circulatory redundancies, both of which are ground traits. I suppose you could pick 2 space just to balance it out.

    Well, I picked a Science officer for no particular reason, But I have found science to be quite handy in Space battles which, regardless of what you prefer, you will spend alot of your time participating in them.

    Science officers can use cool abilities to slow down the enemy or my favourite "Jam targeting Sensors" which you can use to disable your enemies weapons targeting systems so they cant shoot you.

    Personally, each 'career' has various reasons for you to choose them and it really depends on your taste.
