Fleet Event Channel

[Channel] FleetEvent

Welcome to FleetEvent,
this channel is not for stfs but for just fleet event orient games.
To make sure that things run smoothly and without any hicups I will post a few rules.

Rules of the channel
-No flaming or spamming of channel
-No cussing
-There is no need/greed polocy (thats up to you guys)
-Keep Inv to(LFxM NOWIN put whatever) -x is number u need
-No arguing with admins or mods were final(im fair but if your a douche u wont last long)
-when looking for games no more then 3 people at a time can recruit for the same type of game.
-Keep on topic and to the games.
-NO FLEET Recruiting if your in this channel you wont need too.

this channel is public for the 1st 48hrs after that it will be private and you will have to pm @srspells for a inv.

    A suggestion for the 'rules':

    - No profanity or crude language. Dont go out of your way to offend. (IE, If you cant resist using 'Adolf' as your 'type x for invite' keep your mouth shut or use random letters, they work just as well and leave Godwin's law out of the channel)

    - Try and avoid having too many of the same event going at once. If you only need one more person to fill, thats one thing, but starting a brand new group when there are already 3 looking for people just slows everything down.

    - The LF#M "Event" "TRIBBLE" format is preferable. Keeps things smoother and more easily recognisable.

    - The channel is for Fleet Events, not fleet recruiting, gorn/tribble jokes, or religious or political flame wars.

    ----

    The above should be all you need. In fact, most of it is really unnecessary and just there to further streamline the process.

    As for the loot policy: there doesnt actually seem to be *any* loot at all in the fleet events (apart from the useless green TRIBBLE).

    Also, whatever rules you do use, make sure the mods/admins actually understand them and adhere to them rigidly. Absolutely nothing will ruin your reputation or the channel's faster than mods overstepping their own bounds or flat out hypocrisy.

    This sounds like the perfect place for single-player fleet owners to get in on some fleet mission action to earn fleet marks.

    And for those that choose not to fleet as well!

    Hope you mod it well. I subscribed but haven't had a chance to take part yet. This seems really useful and I hope it goes better than some other channels have.

    it will be modded there are certain times I make announcements and allow questions. but not alot when its private it will be strictly for games only and plust im on 10-18 hrs a day.

    I don't see the need to add 'no profanity'... chat already comes with the profanity filter on and if people choose to disable it then they've got nothing to complain about when they see profanity.

    As for the rest, as long as people keep the off topic stuff to a minimum, don't causes dramas or act like jerks there won't be much trouble.
