Getting a bit frustrated with the whole fleet thing. Been in and out of so many trying to find one that fits, but to no avail:(. They either take it TOO seriously, are TOO big, have enough rules and regs to turn an oddys warp core into mush, or just dont talk to you( the last one i tried to get 3 members to invite my new toon in, and not ONE response!!!).

Hell it doesnt even have to be a fleet, just a small group of very laid back, like minded people, who enjoy a chat, and who can poke fun at themselves as well as others without taking offence. ;)

So if there are any other lost souls out there in a similar situation, or your a fleet that fits the above description, and operate in or around the GMT+10(sydney) time zone, feel free to contact me.(sense of humour highly advisable)

    G'day mate.

    Here's who we are

    And here's what we do

Pretty much right on to your descrption I think. Heck, I'm fine with you -not- joining, just add me on your friend's list and we can run some ops when both of us are online.

@carmenara in game. My timezone is GMT+8.

Fleet is relatively small, all sorts of humor, self regulated and agile enough to adapt to virtually anything. I share your sentiment too that certain large fleets are just too 'slow' or even outright hostile. That's why I run my own.

This is a fleet by pilots, for pilots. There are no probations, no ranks. We watch each others' backs and it's simple as that.
STF Flight Instructor since Early 2012. Newbies are the reason why STO lives and breathes today. Do not discriminate.

    Hey

We are a smaller fleet with members who are on Team Speak everyday. We have members that run Stf's do a little Pvp and even people that rerun episode missons. We also have planned events on a regular basis. we are a Rp light fleet which means Rp if you want to and don't if you don't want to. We have rules but not a ton of them. Our promotion system is simple and don't have a 30 day probation period you can be promoted out of our new member aux. flight as fast as you prove you are ready to be assigned to a regular flight.

So stop by our website and look us over and if you like what you see sign up on the website and we'll get you an invite in game as well.

They seemed quite fond of reminding those present that 'game' ranks are not 'fleet ranks' - i.e, your game rank is meaningless.

Some people get off on that stuff. Both as leaders and followers.

I have to wonder how much the "leaders" will be contributing in the upcoming starbase building.

I have a one person fleet but I;ve already gotten a half dozen requests to join it. Hadn;t planned on making it public but I;m thinking about it.

First thing I;m doing though is keeping the top position as Leader. not changing that title.

I would like to extend our invitation to the Third Fleet Task Force. We started this fleet as a friends only fleet and when STO went F2P we opened to public. We are looking for laid back players that enjoy having a good time. Most of us are EST and on in the evenings. We have a Teamspeak server and talk on it frequently.

If you are interested you can contact us via:
