Nothing else changes. The Fleet VoQuv would have the same shield/hull hitpoints as the basic version (and any other modifiers and stuff).
(though if you're feeling kind it would be very nice to have a new costume option for the ship.. slightly different nacelles/nose/hull options).
This is the last and only chance this ship will get to become a true carrier. Make it happen this coming season patch ...because once its done it wont ever be changed.
The point is to make the fleet voquv a true carrier. A ship that uses its pets as its weapons not a science ship in terms of armaments with cruiser equivalent hull than has damage-add-on pets.
I would like the Fleet Voquv to BE a pet user primarily. That is why it loses its weapon hardpoints. 2 fore and 2 aft are more than plenty to be used as support (subsystem attacks mainly) and to defend itself from heavy torpedos and such. All offensive power of a Fleet Carrier should be the pets not its own guns.
I would have nothing against a more focused carrier as you're proposing if it were not for the terrible lag I'm experiencing with a single Vo'quv in STFs.
Not long ago, I actually "lost" all the fight with Donatra when a Vo'quv released all he got and someone else added a couple mines to the mix. Not a big fan of such freezes.
Other than that, the Vo'quv would probably deserve a 3rd hangar.

The thing is for those who fly that ship. its not a attack ship it is more of a support ship used in large fleets. so asking for 4 hanger bays would really take out the aspect of "Fleet" and make it more of a solo ship. personally its going to be a great ship either way and with other fleet ships around it will pick up any of the faults it has.
