Always Facing Klingons in Fleet Eevnts

captainrevo1captainrevo1 Member Posts: 3,948 Arc User
Not sure if its a bug or 'luck' but since the last patch ive faced klingon npc's in the fleet events 4 times in a row over space and ground. considering the number of enemy groups it seems a bit much for random chance.

Has anyone else had the same problem or was it just pure chance for me.

As your starbase increases in development you'll face other enemies.

    Oh interesting. thanks.

the last few attempts the pve queue has been hosted by someone who does not yet have a tier 1 base which i guess explains it.

So one could infer that its only the honorless Klingons who attack people with underdeveloped starbases? Yes. Interesting.

I thought that this was common knowledge.

Or, only the Klingons are smart enough to attack before their enemies reach full strength.

Or, the Klingons are only brave enough to attack before their enemies reach full strength.

    Fixed that for you

As as Fed I may be facing Klinks, but as a Klink I am facing "wait time". There are not enough Klinks in Tribble to try the 15 ship fleet defense; are hardly seen any number hire than two or three on any of the fleet events for the Klinks. The only one I was able to do was Colony Invasion. The missions really do need to be cross-faction to allow klinks an easier time getting into the events.

You'd think, in light of the whole Borg invasion thing going on, and all, that some Klingon General with half a brain, and at least enough tactical, aptitude, to play a game of checkers, would realize that destroying Federation Assets is helping the Collective. About as ridiculous as the Soviet Union attacking Alaska, while they were allies with America against the TRIBBLE. Writing/plot scripting is definately not Cryptic's strong suit, at the moment.

But dont some of these tiers take a really long time to advance? Are you saying that your going to be stuck fighting the same enemy groups for a really long time?

Dont Fed ships attack KDF bases too? If so you can take everything you said and apply it to the Feds.

Well, curiously, the two times I was able to start a Starbase blockade on KDF (and believe me, once it took a lot of persuasion on TTS), I still faced "other Klingons". Sadly, that's hardly a significant sample to see whether there are many federation attackers in KDF missions.

Klingons facing Klingons has been explained as House rivalries.

I know, not saying it's wrong. Was only responding to the assumption that KDF would most often face feds as an enemy. And so far, looks like a lower tier base enemies are mostly Klingons for both factions.

I never said anything about "most often". And it doesnt matter whether you fight them at low level or high level. If you do at all then the point of my post is the same.
