Horta on Nukara Prime

Does anyone agree with me that the Horta combat pet should be able to survive that environment.

Yes, all the fabrications and escorts and medics burn when they beam down, but I actually thin Horta should survive there, and not burn to death.

You'd think Hortas would love the place...

Indeed. Be a nice idea if they could get a health boost being there. Of course, there isn't much for them to do. :(

I read something about this in a patch log a while ago. Security Teams for example should beam in with hazard suits when the player is wearing them too. Hortas were also mentioned as being immune to hazardous environments. I can't find the section in the current patch notes though.

Either way, I'd say this isn't intended bevahiour and will be fixed.

Yea I read it too on the forums here: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=294081

    Might be a bug...

Summoned pets and allies have been adapted for hostile environments:
Security Escorts will now beam in wearing EV Suits if the player has their EV Suit on and Activated.
Quantum Shadows summoned by the Shard of Possibilities will now appear wearing EV Suits if the player has their EV Suit on and Activated.
Horta Combat Allies are immune to the effects of hostile environments.
Mugato Combat Allies will still suffer damage and eventually perish if summoned in a hostile environment.
The rare summons that occasionally occur when using Devidian Pattern Enhancers do not function in hostile environments.
All ground Vanity pets are disabled while in a hostile environment.
The psychic images called by Aenar and Reman are now immune to hostile environments
    .

Sure, the quantum shadows from the Shard of Possibilities and security escorts both beam in wearing EV suits (my EV suit was on and activated) but they still burn up and die immediately.

Medics that appear after using a hypo (provided you have a nurse duty officer slotted) do not beam in wearing an EV suit and go up in flames so that would also need to be addressed.
My main character is T'Les which was also my former forum name and I want it back! Hylarr is one of my alts.
