Looking for a Mature fleet to join.
Hi can anyone recommend a mature fleet to join? I've been soloing for nearly a year, but with the Fleet Bases on the way, it just seems like a good idea to join up, contribute and have some fun.
I primarily collect samples, provisions, etc, when I'm not doing regular STF's or Foundry missions. I have 9 characters, of which 5 are Klingon (where I am most active). I've been around a while, and I don't mind helping out in missions and trade.
Looking for a small to medium sized fleet comprised of a good mix of players in different timezones, ages 20+.

I invite you to visit the 12th Fleet web site and see if it's what your looking for. were are large mature International Fleet over 500 with a Klingon Fleet known as the House of 12. with a monthly published Fleet magazine. we are already on tribble testing the Fleet System and could use some good players in both our Klingon and Federation.
I've only been playing since January but this fleet is an awesome family heres a link to our Starbase (website)

I'm sure you'll be pleased you did.
You should also be able to find us in the Fleet section of this forum as well.
If we are not what you want then I suggest Orion Empire one of the largest Klingon Fleets in the game but not well organized or mature.

But you'll want the House of 12 faction make sure you contact Public relations theres a recruitment process but it's painless and helps them and you decide where best (Division) to place you.

Thanks for the suggestion. In any MMO, I (Nothing against you.) avoid anything that has a registration process.
I prefer a smaller, tight knit group with room to spare.
I'm part of a family called Nova Core.
We're the product of combined fleets in a time when the game was waining in player numbers.
7th Core + NLV + Wolf Pack = Nova Core... essentially a new start for our three groups. (7th = pvp, nlv = pvp/pve, wolf = pve)... a good delicious blend.
We're not immense, and we don't want to be. None of that 'we got three bazillion members!'
We're not tiny and single focused, we want some diversity.
We're that porage that's juuuuust right.
We do most of out things in fleet chat, as well as teamspeak.
We don't have a 'sit down interview process, what's your social security number, background check' sort of invite. If we like you, and you're nice and get along well with other folks, then welcome to the family.
You seem to play a part of the game that seems quite essential for fleet bases. That's one thing that made me want to write to you. The other thing is mostly because I tend to agree with what you're looking for in a fleet, so at least we have that in common.
I mailed you my ingame handle, and if you're interested just hmu and we can go from there. If you like us the woots, if not, then at least you got a buddy to shoot the breeze with. :P

I believe that sometimes the individual is often a better discription of what a group is like.:).

I'm TAL.
I've been pvping since open beta.
In pretty much every game I play a healer role, I like supporting a team.
My other interests are
RP (yes... im one of the few pvpers that do like it, cool back story bro!)
Designing fleet graphics. Getting creative people together for fleet videos.
Making friends.
I really enjoy working on other people's ship builds when they ask for the help (although I'll admit im mostly a healboat cruiser guy :P).
