On-demand error

Fatal Error: Unable to initialize on-demand patching and connect to Patch Server: connection was idle for too long



Iv disabled the on-demand patching and Iv patched it then i tryed to enter the game and it says the same thing why?

My connection is very good so why is is this happening??

    Something in the last patch borked since myself and a few others are getting this same error, along with others.

    does anyone know when the problem will be fixed cos ive been oflfline for almost a week now

    you know i been having the same issue i disable on demand patching but i still get the error and it has me run a file check almost 50% of the time i try to play. think this has been going on for me for a while i uninstalled and reinstalled STO and i still getting this issue. last week was running like a dream
