Dilithium Deposit in Guild Bank

ofdpt23p13ofdpt23p13 Member Posts: 5 Arc User
With the new Fleet Starbases coming into game sometime along the line here, will there be a Dilithium Deposit in which fleets can make donations into the bank for the fleet progression? If not, is there any way that we can get that into game anyways?

contribute to fleet projects the effects the same and you don't get a leader raiding the bank for his own advantage

As I understand it, there WILL be a dilithium deposit needed for starbase progression. However, it is not a 'stored' pool of dilithium. Fleet members can contribute to progression by 'donating' dilithium, but this dilithium is simply consumed upon donation, and counted towards the total dilithium required to progress. It isn't 'stored' for later use. They have said there will be a leaderboard where you can see who has donated and how much.

Are you talking about the fleet store where the new ships will be sold? From what has been said, you will need fleet credits to buy from the fleet store. A fleet leader cannot simply just raid the store. He still needs the fleet credits to buy it. And the only way to get fleet credits is to donate stuff that is used towards starbase progression.

Let me be a little more specific with what i'm talking about. I'm grinding out dilithium for my own personal wants in the game. My fleet wanted to help me out, but couldn't send me any dilithium, and can't afford to gift me c-store points. It would be easier for guilds to help out guilds if all forms of currency were some how shareable.

I can say that my fleet is not a fleet like that.

The reason that they would not do that is it would become a huge loss for the company. people would be able to pool dylithium and then buy ships for virtually nothing.

Wouldn't there be squabbling over who gets to use the dilithium then, though? It's gonan be hard enough with limited Fleet ships :P

I would think that that would just leave your fleet open to raiding and someone going off with everything. At least ec wise.

I never got the point of fleet banks, anyway. Personnally, I'd just feel rude taking items out when it could have been placed there for someone else to use, or only the high ups can withdraw when everyone can deposit.

We are not like that. We do have limits on how many items can be withdrawn depending on how long you've been with the fleet. This is to prevent getting robbed, but all members in our fleet get to take stuff out of the bank at some point. And personally, as a fleet leader, I have no need for any of the gear or EC in the fleet bank anyway. I have over 100 million EC between all my characters, and mark XII STF gear. What's there to raid?
