I.K.S. Kaarg

It's just hanging there in Sector Space. Is there some mission or activity connected to it, or is it just there?

    It should be used for an Event Horizon style epic-length STF.

    The devs took out his cloak, cannons, all the crews batleths...half the klingon crew, the warp-drive, and all his consoles, to give to the federation side. He has been stranded with what is left of his crew in space since.

    It's been there for a very long time.
    I'm sure it was slated to be tied to some content at some point.
    But then they either shelved it or simply quit development...
    probably in favor of designing lockboxes, because it's about the money.

    Just wondering if this is an achievement or if it's been done before; but I'm a level 21 Commander in an Akira class Escort and I just completed the whole mission with the Kaarg on my own, destroying it and its friends after a very long fight. Is that good? It felt good..

    First of all, as I see it's your first post here - wellcome to the forum! :)

    However, something you need to know on these forums is that all threads that received no replies after 30 days or more (like this one dating from 2012) are considered 'necro' threads and players are not suposed to reply in them. But, you can start a new one with the same topic. Just to clarify some of the rules.

    Now that said, I have to admit - I never bothered to engage the I.K.S. Kaarg as a Fed. player. :D Tried on my Klingons, but as others in the thread mentioned - with no results. Always thought it was a bugged or not-finished KDF mission. :P
    So as far as I'm concerned - what you did is an achievment of some sort. At least you achieved making me do what I haven't before - trying the mission with my Fed. characters. :D
