To many attempts

Ugh I can't log in because of this! I was trying to log in the star trek online game and I was trying to get on my Cryptic account but failed, now im trying to log in my perfect world account and to many attempts, when this happened yesterday it lasted over 5 hours, I went to sleep and it finally let me in, CAN SOMEONE HELP ME IM NOT WAITING THIS LONG AGAIN!!!!! :mad:

    Were you getting your username or password wrong? Its a pretty simple security feature to stop people from brute forcing your account and taking all your stuff.

    It took me a while to figure this out.

    First off, remember your Perfect World account name is not the same as the forum name.

    Second, make sure your setting is set to Pefect World and not the Cryptic log in.

    Third, double check your Perfect World password. What you entered might not actually be the password.

    Yeah but it's not supposed to last this long is it!? I still can't log in because of to many attempts keeps coming up!

    I am having the same issue. Yes, I tried those simple steps. Yes I know the correct username and password. yes, im hitting the correct bubble. That is not the issue. The issue is everytime I try to log in the launcher says "too many attempts, try again later." Well how long is later? I've been trying to log in off and on for 8 hrs now! I know my information is correct because I can log into the web site (obviously). I did manage once to log in after linking my account, but what I saw was a completely new account screen. Asking me to create a new character! I am a life time member, and have 7 level 50 toons. Come on guys, this is rediculous! I am also frustrated at the lack of support for people with these issues. I have spent all night trying to find some help, but it is just not there! When i submit a ticket i get an auto reply that says 3-4 business days to get a reply. So this means by next Tuesday, really? and they will probably only ask these same questions about did I remember my password. This is crazy people.
