HI, TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I HAVE A QUESTION REGUARDING SHIP AQUISITION ONCE I REACH VICE ADMIRAL. I RECENTLY REACHED THE REAR ADMIRAL-LH EREA AND HAVE AQUIRED THE STAR CRUISER. A COULPE DAYS AGO I HAD A QUESTION REGUARDING MY SHIP AQUISITION OPON REACHING VICE ADMIRAL. I WAS WONDERING IF I COULD AQUIRE THE 2 SHIPS I WANT OR DO I HAVE TO PICK WHICH ONE I WANT.
I HAD DONE THE SHAKEDOWN CRUISE OF THE ODDESY CLASS AND AT THE TIME I COULDENT USE IT. BUT ONCE I REACH THE VA STAGE, (DO I HAVE TO PICK BETWEEN THE ODDESY CLASS IN MY INVENTORY OR THE ASSAULT CRUISER) OR (CAN I AQUIRE THE ASSAULT CRUISER AND THEN GO TO MY INVENTORY AND UNLOCK THE ODDESSY CLASS AND HAVE BOTH SHIPS AVAILABLE TO ME).
SOMEONE PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
P.S. I HAD ASKED THE HELP PEOPLE AND I FORGOT TO MENTION I HAD ALREADY GOT THE STAR CRUISER SO I THINK THEY DIDNT GIVE ME ONE OF THE ANSWERS I WAS LOOKING FOR. THEY ALSO SAID I SHOULD ASK THE PUBLIC ABOUT STUFF LIKE THIS.
SO IM ASKING MY FELLOW FLEETIES AND KDF/FLEETIES ALIKE. IF ANYONE HAS ANY BIT OF (USEFUL) HELP, PLEASE RESPOND TO ME.

If you have the oddesy box, you can use it as long as you still have a ship slot available and it will grant you a free ship, in addition to the star cruiser you acquired with your VA token. As long as you still have ship slots available, you can also purchase ships from the ship vendor in the game or from the C-store
Also no you will not get another ship. If you unlocked the flagship that will unlock for you, but you will not get a choice to get another cruiser for free. ( You can buy one. )
You use to be able to get one of the retrofits for free but that option has been removed since going to free to play.
So to recap. You should get the Odyssey for free but you should not get the Assault Cruiser for free.
if so then you also have a token for a VA requistion right?
so then here is what you do, get a ship with your VA req token, then make sure you have an open ship slot after that and claim your odyssey.
*EDIT* ok i guess i read wrong, your a RA-LH you said, and you got your star cruiser, first off your not in the VA range, your still in the RA range, you dont get another ship at RA-UH you get one at VA.
you can claim your Odyssey at any time so long as you have an open slot, but if you are not at the required rank it states then your not going to be able to do so.
To get a new ship at VA, besides the Odyssey box sitting in their inventory they're either going to have to grind dil or breakout the credit card and hit the C-Store.
There is no RA-UH/VA token. Your last free ship was RA-LH (unless you have the Odyssey already, in which case - you already had it, so technically your last free ship was still RA-LH).
You can buy any of the ships in the C-Store that you wish to buy the Zen to convert to CP to buy... you could also use that CP to convert to Dilithium in the Exchange to buy any of the Dil ships you want or you could farm the Dil (keeping in mind that it is capped at 8K per toon per day).
But again, just to reiterate, your last "free" ship (outside of the Odyssey which you already have) was your selection of the Star Cruiser. Any additional ships that you want on that particular character, you will either be buying them with CP or Dil.
i am a Rear Admiral Lower Half (level 44) and have 4 levals ago got a Star Cruiser. after playing i had an idea. when is reach Vice Admiral (level 50), and i get my final new ship ( w/o paying for one) i want to get the Assault Cruiser and then go to my inventory and unlock the oddesy class ship and have them both available to me.
i dont want to pay for the retrofits that i have available to me once i reach VA. let me know if i can do this w/o any problems or do i have to choose the oddessy class or the assault cruiser as my last new ship.
P.S. i do have enough slots available for both ships. around 5 ( i think).
Once you've gotten to Vice admiral, you must pay for a vice admiral ship with dlithium. They are not free. That means that you must pay 120,000 dilithium in order to buy either the tier 5 star cruiser or the assault cruiser.
Unless you have the Vet token, you do not get a ship token at 50. 10, 20, 30, 40...but not 50.
For the average player, their last free ship is the one they selected at RA-LH (BG). They do not get a token at RA-UH, VA, MG, nor LG. They have to buy the ship either with CP or Dil.
The Odyssey and Bortas were anniversary ships. If you got one of those, you can use it at 50. It does not require a token, no CP, no Dil. You received the ship as part of the anniversary. You can fly that at 50.

This is correct, although there is no guarantee they will give a free ship when they raise the level cap.
