Cannot merge accounts

(submitted a ticket)

I created an account for STO. have been playing for a year or so.

Out of boredom I created a PWE account to play Champions. (really boring game btw. played it for 30 minutes and uninstalled)
I used the same info for PWE that I did for Cryptic.

Now it is asking me to merge the two accounts.
Guess what? Cant.
why?
because the usernames, passwords, and e-mail accounts are identical.

has anyone had this same issue?:mad:

    oh! and on top of that when i go to the c-store from this site it tells me that I do not have any characters!

    I wanted to by the new ship today.

    Is there a way to cancel my PWE account? that when I can create a new one with differnt info and merge my STO account with it. i saw noplace to cancel my account with PWE

    BTW I am a lifetime member for STO and dont want to lose that.

    My flatmate is having the same problem. Created a PWE account on STO a few days ago to try and run 2 clients now he can't merge because he has an STO account already on their system. Can't use the website with your Cryptic account anymore so what do you do??

    Would have been real nice if they told us this was happening beforehand.

    Isn't helping matters any Yahoo mail goes down, (in part anyway) on the same day this all goes down.

    it worked now. however I am no longer engraverwilliam on my forum name which sucks but I will live with it I suppose.

    I just hope that I don't have any c-point issues when I go to buy my Escort Carrier next week.
