An earlier thread I created campaigned for seeing the Aquarius escort as a playable ship, whether it be as a small craft or as an escort. The escort idea proved more popular, with decent arguments made in favor of the Aquarius having a decent shot at being a Tier 5 vessel (size-wise, it can compete with the B'rel and the Jem'hadar attack ship).
Branflakes ended up visiting the thread and saying he would forward it as feedback to the Devs. Later, Dan Stahl picked up my question about a playable Aquarius and said that while it was not planned yet, this was an idea he definitely wanted to see on Al Rivera's whiteboard.

To judge what type of odds something has into being made you just have to answer this "Will it make money in the c-store" if Yes, then it will get put on the to do board. If no, it will not.

I think it must be 4!
I would like to see 4 engineering, 1 science, and 4 tactical. If I didn't have anti-luck, I'd have a bug ship.
The only reason Starfleet make an Aquarius is because they made an Odyssey. The ships are a pair like the Vulcan ship and it's shuttle.
^^^ Agree. There is no need for this to be its own ship. Leave it as a pet with teeth like it was meant to be. The thing is kinda fragile at any rate.
If you don't want it, fine. But some of us do.
