    no wait the best thread was the guy who was level 1 bought a runabout and deleted his Miranda leaving him stuck in a shuttle for ten levels because he couldnt get his ship back. He was asking how he could get it back. That was the best thread ever

    Thanks for the back up. We should all really head over to the ship build forums moar. There is some serious fail over there that goes unchecked.

    He is not running any armor type to mitigate the damage he's being hit with.Until he comes to terms that armor is his friend he is doomed.:D

    As far as the Thread is concerned... I guess he's never flown a Science ship either.. A good Sci ship with CPB 3 can help TRIBBLE Escorts. :rolleyes:

    I showed up and insulted the build a while back. Guess I could have been more constructive.

    yes, they stack. you shouldn't slot anything else there basically. get 3 +26 consoles and you will probably be a LOT happier with your sovereign.


    oh dear no wonder he wants a sovereign refit, he must have never dealt measurable damage in it

    I went over to the ship build forums... OMG. I didn't even know where to start. There was SO much BAD information, I couldn't formulate the words to respond. The only thing I could come up with was to advise everyone there to come to these forums for build advice, but I decided I didn't want to start a PvP v PvE war.

    That thread is fail. There's no way that sci/sci ships are "underpowered" versus escorts, especially when sci ships are flown by someone who knows what they are doing. Sure some of the powers are borked, but what class isn't?

    I've been schooled to respect sci/sci builds. (Subnuke, CPB, PSW 3 for 15K hull damage, followed by bo2 I think?, and then the tricobalts or HY torps crit while I was still stunned with no shields, low health, tractored, and all of my buffs stripped). I swear the exchange felt like it was over in a matter of a few seconds. Boom! Respawn in... Learned a lesson not to underestimate them, thanks to whomever took the time to "teach" me because I'm going to try sci/sci myself.
