You might be right. When he said "episode" rewards I was assuming he meant feature episode rewards as the other missions aren't normally referred to as episodes; at least not that I'm aware of.

I use a couple turrets on the aft of my klink's carrier for extra forward oomf. Most science powers have such a narrow forward arc that the aft weapons slots would be mostly wasted space otherwise. Also nice for escorts for much the same reasons, except sub in science powers for dual heavies.

I can agree with this! I use disruptor turrets on my escorts. To fill out the back end of my ships is usually the most expensive part of ranking up . I, for one, would love to see Turrets as an option at the end of story arc missions.
You can Craft Turrets for relatively little expense. For example, a MK XI Purple Tetryon Turret is about 70 samples, 2 traces, and a Schematic, IIRC. That stuff's not really difficult to come by as you're playing.

Which...kind of isn't the point of the thread. Doesn't matter if you can craft it or not, the point of the thread was that you can't get turrets by doing missions, which is true.
I think its an oversight that should be pointed out, and possibly corrected. Why would anyone object if they are added as another alternative piece of loot to a couple missions here and there?
I just checked. It's a little under 10k Dilithium. Considering my VAs generally earn 7k Dilithium in about an hour, and do that on 3 alts per day, in 2 days I can have 4 Mk XI purple turrets. That doesn't seem like a big deal to me. YMMV

Past Imperfect gives you a Cannon choice as a reward.
Pretty sure the OP was talking about Turrets, you know... 360 degree firing arc...
I would personally LOVE to see them as rewards, it's hard enough to find them, they are overpriced on the exchange. I know you can buy them later on, and grind a few STF's for Rare Borg Salvage, 2 of them and you can get some nice anti-proton turrets
They go great on the rear weapons slots of escorts using dual heavy cannons and torps on the front. mmmm.... love it!

I have been saying this for some time now. We know they exist because we have seen DS9 use them (in the show, not so much the game).
