some people actually are trying to use this forum. Spamming isn't needed

:D

Spammers are causing real people and real fleets who want to share the experience to not be able to do anything (not saying anyone isn't a real fleet but we all need to be civil and share with the community). A site where only non members can reply or better yet,
STO can do this easily:
Lock all posts for fleet adds. People can contact the person who posted via PM. That would clean up the mess we have in forums. Also, create a seperate section in forums for people looking for a fleet to join and include a sticky for each forum to make sure recruiters and recruits understand where they should be if they want to post.. Just an idea.

I believe this would remove the fighting in forums and streamline the issues for recruiters and recruits.

    good idea

Go with a sub forum for fleet ads, and a separate one for people looking

how about adding a flame thread then you can put all the in-fighting there?

(Sorry OP I'd have left it at good idea but it wouldn't let me post anythign that short)

I hate spammers. Especially, people who just bump their thread to get people to read about their fleet. What do they think this is, a recruitment sub-forum?

Bumping your fleets thread is a way of letting new potential players you are still active. If you don't like it, don't come to this forum.
