how do i get my first duty officer?

    At LC2, you'll get a small set of them.

    If you get a diplomatic promotion at LC1, I think you can get that doff early.

    and then you can also go to earth starbase and the academy and use the doff system to recruit new doffs from there.

    takes around 1day to 3 days to recuit, depanding on quality.

    The doff system is the shuttle icon next to the c-store tab attached to the bottom of the minimap.
