That show had the complete opposite effect on me that Cryptic probably hoped it would. :(

The Developer attitudes and their future additions to the game highly worried me.

Sad to see you off the air Jeremy, but hey, it's for a darn good cause, and I can absolutely respect that. Congrats to you! Hope to see you posting on the the forums with that shiny new Gold Title the devs get :)

D'Angelo seemed refreshing. I like that he's trying to get the annoying bugs of the game sorted out. Hell, they've fixed that annoying lag I used to get when in a game with a million junk objects. I was in a multi-carrier match and that wasn't a 10 fps affair unlike before.

And those ship variants shown by CaptainGeko looked cool. Now they just need to keep putting out those PvP rebalances like the one being released for SS in a week or so, bring out the FEs and hopefully release some on a regular basis and this game will own again.

Just wow Cryptic...how much you have fallen in such a short time. I love how you are now selling weps.

I almost feel sad to see the J-Man work for you guys.

Those new ships just better be available through dilithium...and not a stupid "500 emblem" worth grind. How bad is STO doing that Cryptic is creating so many money-grabbing things in this game...or should I say how bad are the ethics ...?

His comment that launch wasn't "ideal" seemed a little understating of the enormity of the problem/

That and his comments about people scouring the forums for feedback. And in response to the overall feedback "not enough for gold, too much for silver", they decided to give gold less and silver more.:confused:

I'd like to believe STO may get better again, but some new FE's are not just gonna bounce this game right out a huge content drought, a possible future economy collapse, and a F2P launch that has every possibility to fail. :(

They will be available in the C-Store, you trade dilithium to other players for the points to get them. Where are these players? Who knows?

Nice episode! Always enjoy putting faces to the names that develop the games I play. :D
Gotta say, it's a bit sad to see Jeremy leave STOked, as he and Chris had a good dynamic going.
It will be interesting to see what the future will bring...

Good to see that escorts get some goodies, I'm still waiting for an advanced heavy escort though,
the way they did it with the nebula and that one cruiser everyone thinks is better than sliced bread
(never saw the appeal of that flying crate )

Anyway can't wait for next episode, bring on the klingon ships!

The one thing that made smile was the plot of the new FE:

    *** Spoiler Alert ***

A series that connects to a specific episode of Star Trek is awesome. The fact it deals with the fleet from the Battle of Bajor, that is just awesome.

...And just what else are they to do with the game going free to play within the next month, and with so much of the matrix shared with gold players? They need to "Earn" the money out of your wallet somehow. If you're going to be a gold player you can simply save up your stipend to get it. If not...well...then this reaction shows how much attention such items will garner in the store.

Honestly though, you're not buying the weapon, you're buying the ship. The weapon (or consoles) are just a bonus.

Just like fleet storage panes and their 1m EC cost, this new notion of 500k EC a MONTH for a Fleet station is crushing the small fleets in favor of the mammoth ones! I've played many MMO's that have some type of guild home and I've NEVER run into one that charges a monthly stipend for it. You're effectively killing small fleets.
