So, I have an ATI Mobility 4250 in my laptop, and my graphics look horrible. I can't seem to get it to change to look better. There is a lot of jaggy edges that I can't get to go away, and the textures look washed out, and changing AA and AF don't seem to resolve the issue. What gives. I'll try to take some screenshots and put them up.

Under the Video options - make sure 'Half Resolution' is OFF.

    +1 on that.

I wish my laptop could handle it with full resolution instead of half resolution...reminds my of how games used to look like a few years ago.

Wow, thanks for this, this is one of the reasons I quit STO the first time. Why the heck is this enabled by default?

It shouldn't be, unless you have a really low end viseo card. I've installed the game on two different desktops and a laptop; and I've NEVER seen it enabled as default. The game does do a check to see what hardware you use, so maybe that glitched?

It's enabled by default on low-end laptops (mine had it on, running 8200M G). However mine couldn't run at a decent FPS with desktop res so it made sense lol
